Quirky, Luxury Hideaway

Beautiful location. Made our 20th wedding anniversary even more special with extra little touches they did for us for when we arrived.

We loved everything about our lodge! It was spotlessly clean, have comfy, hot tub was very relaxing and we didn’t want to leave! Hosts were so lovely and friendly. Thank you so much, can’t wait to return!

We really liked the amount of space we had to ourselves, no interruptions from anyone at any point. The location is in a beautiful part of wales that is certain to take your breath away. The bed was so comfy, had a few amazing nights sleeps. Kept the fire going inside pretty much the whole time we were there and that was lovely. I went on a walk up to the top of the mountain out the back to watch the sunrise as it was a clear morning and it was just mesmerising. I highly recommend anyone that can be bothered to wake up that early to go and see the sunrise on top of that mountain. The owners of the property were absolutely lovely and gave a us a free bag of wood. They told us about the history of the place and that was cool to learn about as well.

We couldn’t start the fire for the hot tub, as it was so windy the fire would just keep getting blown out within 10 mins of us lighting it but that’s probably us just being a bit incapable. The water pressure for the shower was a tiny bit lacking but that’s more of a personal preference than anything else.

The location was perfect.. beautiful views. The lodge was clean, welcoming and had everything you needed for a lovely stay. The amount of useful information we received right the way up until and inc the day of the stay was really welcomed.

The only thing I could raise was there wasn’t a lot of room to unpack our clothes into (as in storage)The rail was useful but not quite big enough.. but honestly we made it work and everything else was lovely!
