Nice room in Biei and a friendly family host. It was so nice to communicate with the owners and their 9 years son, Sorachi-kun. That evening he came to our room to say that the family was about to appear on tv. We saw the program and it was super interesting and emotional. Thank you so much and see you soon again when we visit Biei in the next summer.

+ cute little room adjacent to the owners‘ main building + great view from the big window + everything in the room explained in several languages + super nice host :)
Nothing negative, but maybe something to note: If you’re not travelling by car, bike or are an avid hiker, this might not be the perfect place to stay, as it is located rather remotely. Also didn’t bother us at all, but as another heads up: it’s adjacent to the main building and the walls are thin. You will hear people talking sometimes :)
