Loved that it had everything we needed and was self-contained. A good amount of space too!
The western beds were very uncomfortable, unfortunately. The one I slept in actually had a huge bump in the middle of the mattress. The sheets were also lacking, one pillow had no case and the top sheets were actually towels… But, actually the beds were really the only issue here and I otherwise would rate this stay as excellent.

The cottage was very handy to the station and our host met our train and took us there. He loaned us bicycles so we could visit the Tokachi Millennium Forest. He provided fresh salad from the garden. The cottage had all facilities and we were very comfortable during our stay.
