Studio Mélange in Loutraki DT

We had a pleasant stay overall, and the location of the accommodation was excellent. It was very convenient for accessing everything we needed. Parking in the area can be difficult, but this is something that is to be expected given the location and surroundings. As its central, at night it can be noisy but this is expected. The apartment itself was very, very clean, which was greatly appreciated. The cleanliness of the space was definitely a highlight.

A few small improvements would make the stay even better. The single beds in the bedroom were quite noisy, with movement during the night noticeable. We arrived on a very hot day after a long drive due to the fires, and unfortunately the air conditioning remote had no batteries. This was easy to resolve, but it was an inconvenience after a long journey and something that could have been checked before arrival. I had advised that three people would be staying, the apartment was prepared for two. The host was responsive and advised where to find additional sheets, towels, and pillows. These items were clean, but they did not appear freshly washed, ironed, or neatly prepared. The sofa bed (a small double) was also not very comfortable. The bathroom could also benefit from a little extra attention. There was some soap residue on the shower glass, which made my children think it was dirty (note - the apartment overall was very clean). The bathroom floor also flooded after the second shower, which may need checking. The hot water takes a little time to come through, but the instructions provided by the host were helpful. The supplies provided could also be improved. For three people the two half rolls of toilet paper were not enough for one day, no paper towels or dish towels in the kitchen, and leftover shampoo, conditioner, and body scrub in the shower. While reusing products is applauded and positive environmentally, a fresher presentation would improve the guest experience. Overall, we loved the location and appreciated how clean the apartment was; a little more attention to preparation and comfort would make it an excellent stay.
