Villa D40

We had a great stay at Damith’s property. We loved that it was a proper home so we could relax, cook, use the fridge, have have lots of areas to relax - both inside and outside the house. Damith was a great host, and helped me with booking transport as well. We even got a welcome king coconut to drink upon arrival! Jungle beach is a beautiful, small beach that you can swim at and it’s only a 3 minute walk away. There are also a great selection of locally owned restaurants in the area, run by beautiful Sri Lankan families!

Everything was great! It can get a bit noisy at night because of local parties (not every night). Please note that this property is away from the main part of Weligama where most of the cafes etc are, but there are lots of tuk tuks to take you into town.

Very nice and clean apartament near Jungle beach in a quite neibourghood. 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room and fully equiped kitchen Our (family of four) stay was very pleasant. There is a terrace on the rooftop where we grilled fish and cooked potatoes in charcoal, watched the stars and some giant bats flying around. During the days peacocks are chillin’ around the hood and once on our tooftop. There are quite a bit of coconut trees growing in the residential area. The place and the beach is quite far from the main road which does not happen very often in the south of Sri Lanka. In general you should look for area like this between main road and the beach (from Coconut to Jungle beach) - especially if you are with your kids. The host is very nice and helpful!

Der Außenbereich war super. Gute Möglichkeit um im Schatten zu sitzen. Der Vermieter war nett.

Die Betten waren durchgelegen. 4 Personen hatten im Kollektiv schlecht geschlafen und sind mit Rückenbeschwerden aufgewacht. Unterkunft ohne mobil zu sein nicht empfehlenswert.
