DENEBANK LODGE - Strictly NO Parties

The house was spacious, close to public transport, had a massive tv and was walking distance to LFC. We had an issue with the entry lock being stiff and the owner arranged to have it sorted very quickly. The beds were comfortable and there was lashings of hot water. It was clean and tidy -(but it wasn’t super clean - we found a dirty tea towel behind the front door and there was cobwebs in the large front bedroom.) it would be a good option for a large group who wanted to attend the football because there is loads of beds. We managed to park right out front of the house and used the parking per,it provided.

Although advertised as two bathrooms it is actually one (upstairs) bathroom and a toilet/basin downstairs. The kitchen lacked equipment. There was basic, pots pans, crockery and utensils and not much else. There was only 3 wine glasses, 4 drinking glasses and no bowls for mixing, salads etc: This really limited our cooking options. The dining room table had only 4 chairs and they were very wonky/unstable. Although not an issue for us, because we only had 4 people, the lounge had seating for only 4 people which might be an issue for a larger group.

The windows were open when we were arrived meaning the property was freezing and then we realised the heating was not working and there was no hot water either.
