The location is superb - not just that the property is right in the old part of the town, but also it has a stupendous view of the lake from the sitting room, and a very picturesque view of the roof tops of the old town from the bedroom. Plus, the apartment comes with access to a roof top terrace with 360 degree views of the town and lake - unbeatable! IN addition to the views, the property is very spacious - a lovely sitting room area, plus a meals area with a table and seating for two, and a kitchen area with everything required from simple cooking. The bedroom was very nice and the bathroom, whilst small, was certainly adequate. I would not hesitate to come back here again, if I have the opportunity to travel in the area in the future, and have recommended the property to friends who live nearby and often have visitors they are unable to host themselves.
There is a washing machine for clothes, but it was hidden away so discretely I had no idea it was there (I found it by accident). However I had a chat to the host about this, and they will put up a sign to indicate where it is for the benefit of future guests. The property has a welcome book, but it doesn't contain much personalized info from the host - just a lot of pamphlets. I asked for advice as to which of the many local restaurants the host would suggest for a simple but delicious meal, and was delighted with the restaurant they suggested - more advice of that nature would be good to put in the welcome book, in my opinion (eg. best local restaurants, how to get from the property down to the lakeside, where there is a nearby supermarket for food supplies etc.). However, I discussed my thoughts with the host and my guess is they will add more to their welcome book.

Despite my train being delayed, the owners were nice to meet me at the train station and walk with me to the property. It's a really spacious and beautifully furnished apartment with the best view in town. The roof terrace is just an added bonus. The area is remarkably quiet, yet conveniently close to all the local attractions and necessities, including shops and restaurants. The place is designed with style and comfort in mind. It felt like a home away from home, which is the highest praise I can give. I'd love to return someday to enjoy the historical town and take in the lake view from the terrace.

It looked just as the photos show. Beautiful location in the ancient town of Bracciano just below the Castle and stunning views of the lake. Marvellous restaurants all within short walking distance as well as a very well supplied Carrefour Express. A short drive down to the lake for great beaches and many more restaurants. I have never swum amongst ducks and swans before but the lake is beautiful and kept very clean as the drinking water resource for Rome. The small ferry around the three main Lake towns is also a great way to enjoy the scenery. Vigne e Valle the airforce museum a few km away and a marvellous visit with a huge collection of aircraft. Plus ancient sites such as Sutri and Cerveteri as well as Rome a short train ride away. It was exactly what we had hoped for when we booked and we were delighted with our stay. Finally a shout out to our host Valentina who was welcoming, helpful throughout our stay and there immediately on the one occasion we needed her. An excellent host.
We expected lots of hills and steps as we have stayed in other Italian mountain top villages. If you are not fairly mobile this might not be the location for you. The terrace was beautiful but accessible from outside the apartment up an even steeper set of steps. Again it was what we expected but might be a bit forbidding for some. The washing machine was a bit of a challenge to complete a proper spin cycle, despite full instructions provided, but that was the only minor negative.

The place is beautiful. Very quiet. the apartament is very clean and well designed. Appliences are top notch. View through the window is amazing. The terrace on the roof is amazing. The host was very friendly and helped with everything we asked. What you get for the price is nothing like anywhere else. Rent this apartmanent while you can.
There were problems with wifi, but I am sure they have resolved the issue.
