Review Cathedral Coach House

Overall, the accomodation was very good and it very spacious, comfortable and more than enough for 2 people to stay and allslerp. The bathroom was clean and toiletries provided which is not always the case ! We were warm as heating set so we could dry out clothes as a wet few days. Bed large and mattress form which we need due to health conditions. Very well equipped kitchen, no need to take anything. Location was quiet and only 10 to 15 minute walk to town. Lots of spare linen if needed. The communication between us and the owner was quick and easy to contact.

I would recommend a non slip mat for the shower as it was slippy but we had constant hot water water abd a powerful shower. I would recommend a final check of fridge as a stain but we quickly mopped it up and in living room someone for some reason had left a folded crisp packet on a radiator !. Any issues were addressed immediately by the owner.

Pleasant stay , good location, a little pricey for 2

No breakfast, grateful for early check in, clean and comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee available and a great location near centre of lichfield

Stairs up to property should be mentioned, overpriced at £207 per night for 2 people but sleeps up to 6 so probably better value for more people

Clean and cosy accommodation close to Lichfield centre

The property is situated in a convenient place for easy and quick access into Lichfield city centre. The accommodation was clean, tidy, well equipped, and for those who find these things important iPlayer, Netflix, ITVX etc freely available on the TV. Internet quality also good. Text instructions from the owners good and prompt.

Not much not to like about the property, but two things raised by my wife. 1. the shower cubicle needs a non-slip mat and 2. an occasional table in the lounge would be very useful as somewhere to put your coffee cup/wine glass whilst watching TV.

Noisy street … motorbikes being driven up and down. Street not safe

Property was just ok. Nothing special. The reviews do t really reflect the place. Shower was ok. Being asked to strip the bed is a weird request. One I didn’t do Property has got too many personal items. Not a good stay. Better properties in the area

Too many personal items and nik naks in the property. The street is very noisy and motorbikes and loud cars being driven up and down the street. Didn’t feel car was safe on the street

Lovely accommodation, in a lovely area

Excellent location, lovely walk into The town centre, a nice home from Home feel for our relaxing mini break. Very comfortable and had everything we needed we will Definitely revisit.

We had a brief 2 night stay at the property but can recommend to others for long or short visits.

The apartment was spacious, well furnished and in a good, quiet location with the city centre and the stunning cathedral within easy walking distance.

There is a small table with two high stools in the living / dining section. An easy addition would be a coffee table and / or side tables by the two sofas.

The location was a little further out from the city centre than I'd anticipated, but nonetheless it was a straightforward and pleasant walk. The accommodation was clean and comfortable.

I had requested that the sofa bed be made up, which was confirmed by the host. However, it was not and I couldn't find any bed linen to do it myself. This caused a problem!

Great place to unwind and relax after a long day at work

Very well stocked and thoroughly cleaned before my arrival. Loved that the scent around the house was from rituals as was the bathroom and kitchen products - fantastic high quality. Bed was so comfy and nice to have a TV in there. Lots of natural light in the apartment as-well as lamps and main lights available in every room. Was very thoughtful of the host to consider the little things like a floor length mirror which was easily able to get ready infront of too and it was great to have a smart TV with access to the apps like Disney, Netflix etc. Thanks for making my stay both enjoyable and comfortable!
