Excellent location, close to all the shops and restaurants.
Parking right opposite the front door.
Very good communication with host.
2 door keys instead of just the one, so useful if you don’t all go out and return at the same time.
A little tired in places, but would not stop us returning.
Microwave and fridge were a little below standard on cleaning but nothing a quick wipe couldn’t improve.
Low on cutlery, only one teaspoon for example. Didn’t do any cooking so didn’t notice any other lack of utensils.
More mirrors would be appreciated especially in top room, not always just children in this room.

The property was warm, cozy and inviting, we were visiting from Scotland for a funeral so this place was perfect and so close to the town centre. There was everything we needed for our stay and we will definitely book this place again if available next time we visit.

Location and easy parking
Warm
Clean
Poor quality bedding, cheap, tired, old but clean. Poor quality mattresses.
The stairs are very creaky and loud. Sleep can be disturbed.
Toilet rolls were minimal.
Lack of coffee making facility.

We liked the location. Easy walking distance from the town and all the amenities of Litchfield. We liked the ease of the key safe lock box. We found the multi charging box very useful. The dishwasher was a bonus. Large fridge freezer was handy. All beds and bathrooms were comfortable and a good size. The views from the loft room were lovely of the cathedral spires. The downstairs loo was a handy fixture.
Both sofas in the main room were extremely uncomfortable after a short while. Really do need to be swapped for a better quality set, as the park bench was more comfortable! The staircase, both sets are ridiculously noisy!
There was a lack of decent size bath towels, and what we were presented with needed urgent upgrading. None matched, and all the random colour towels, large and small, were bleach stained, like a set from the local hair salon! Thank goodness we read the reviews and brought our own.
Although the master bedroom had bath and shower facilities, there was no shower screen or curtain.
The shower cubical in the second bathroom was rather small but worked well.
Although all bedding was clean, nothing matched. The duvet cover didn't match the pillowcases, which is very uncommon, and the single beds in the loft were set up with children's duvet covers, not really a problem but unusual.
New pillows are needed throughout, as all are past their best.
It was a shame there was no outside garden access.
Of an evening it went quite cold, and although there was a "nest" controller for heating, we had no access to it, so we were unable to turn on heating.
With a little more attention to detail, this property could be fantastic.

Closeness to the city centre. Quiet. Good internet. Enough crockery.
The top bedroom, landing, and ground floor cupboards were untidy even dirty. There was a soiled underwear under the single bed upstairs. The carpets on the first set of stairs were dirty. The last set of stairs are very creaky and noisy. Stained pillowcases

Some maintenance needed shower rail and shower curtain in bathroom, brown marks on ceiling from i think might have been a leak from the bathroom, used underwear under one of the beds

Great property in easy walking distance of main centre, which has plenty of bars and restaurants. Instructions were clear and very simple and property was in good order, really liked the little extra touches such as phone charger.
Would happily stay here again
Only minor thing is the squeaky stairs, every step creaked but it wasn't an issue for us, might have been if we were with children and were trying to put them to bed and then sneak downstairs

Great location
Good facilities
Parking was a little tight because of the van next door

We stayed for 2 nights and could not fault the perfect location, we loved being able to walk easily to the cathedral. We loved Lichfield, the beautiful parks, great shops and restaurants nearby were all in walking distance. The rooms were spacious and very easy check in. Host was very responsive and helpful. We appreciated there being chargers for our phones and a good hairdryer. There were gorgeous cathedral views over the roof tops from the 2nd floor bedroom (see pics). There were 2 bathrooms and shower really good. We travelled by train so did not use the parking.
Such a shame as we loved staying there but the property needs updating and especially is in dire need of a deep clean. There seems to be an issue with lightbulbs as the bedside lamps did not work. Kitchen is huge but has very minimal items eg no teaspoons or side plates, oven needs cleaning, mugs are stained. No mirrors in the downstairs loo or full length ones anywhere, important if going to a function. We had to clean the shower head before we could use it. Pillows need pillow protectors, tea towel needs chucking out. The stairs were all unbelievably creaky to the point of being hilarious but if you get up to go to the loo in the night you will wake everyone in the house. This place has the potential to be so much better.

Proximity to town and cathedral was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Enough facilities to cook and dine in.
Parking was available but very tight for an estate car. Sofas were really uncomfortable. Only some of the ceiling lights worked in the ground floor. Not as clean as could have been with what looked large wet bread crumbs in sink and some food stuffs on counter tops.

Location was perfect for us, and loved that it was three storeys, also has 2 bathrooms.

Comfortable and in a great location
Parking space was very difficult to get into and out of, due mainly to a large van in the adjacent space.

The house was clean, well furnished and much more spacious than I’d expected. There was a few toys/games that were a hit with my children too. The location was perfect for us, only a short walk to the wedding we were attending. We had a great stay, thank you!

The property is in a fantastic location . Perfect for easy walks to the Cathedral and shops/markets. We took our elderly parents and needed things to be close.
Unfortunately the bedroom intended for my parents was on the 3rd floor. The stairs were dark, with no working light bulb at the top. Nor were they working in the bedroom once there.
Just a little attention to detail would have made this a far more pleasant stay.
The list of amenities was inaccurate. We didn't take some items as they were listed on the details of the property. Unfortunately, once we were there, they weren't infact included.
Toilet rolls.
Shampoo.
Conditioner. Etc.
Again not a problem to not include them, but make it clear they weren't included. Not list them as though they were.
It was however generally clean.

The property was very clean and equipped. The location was amazing, so close to the centre, to be able to walk to restaurants etc. I booked this property to get ready for my wedding at the registry office which was a 5 minute walk. Very comfortable stay.
I think the property would benefit from a full length mirror, as I was getting ready for my wedding here it was the first thing I looked for when I checked in. Luckily my friend staying with me was arriving later so I got her to bring me one, otherwise I would have nipped to a local store and purchased one.

Location
I needed to clean the kitchen, cups, and toaster before using them.
Towels are old and only had one each even though we were there for four nights.
Really disappointing after travelling from overseas we were left exhausted with poor sleep due to the extremely uncomfortable bed.
Stained bedding and poor quality pillows.
Old toiletries left in the bathroom.
Light globes not working in the second bedroom.
There were no batteries in one of the TV controls.
Such a lot of money for such poor quality.

Loved the location
No light on top landing, felt unsafe on creaky stairs, had to get a torch.
Watered down soaps and washing up liquid - had to hand wash up, as no dishwasher tablets. A number of light bulbs not working on ground floor.

Nothing twice stayed here now and perfect location.

Property is over three floors, living area and kitchen on ground floor, main bedroom and bathrooms on first floor and another bedroom in the attic. The place is inviting, spacious and well equipped. The location is lovely and very convenient for the cathedral and center.
There's very little not to like

The location was excellent and for a short stay the property itself was fine
The mattress on the bed was the worst I've ever experienced. A good night's sleep is a must anywhere and the bed was terrible
The furniture was cheap and uncomfortable.
On arrival the temperature was 14C. Very cool, and the radiators were cold. When I queried this with the owner he suggested I turn the individual radiator thermostats to max, something I had already done. No other suggestions, even when I told him this had been done. Eventually I messed with the boiler settings and got heat, no thanks to my host.
There were several other small things but please, please replace that dreadful mattress

Fantastic location, very close to the cathedral, shops, bars and restaurants yet pretty quiet. The property was generally well presented and furnished, comfortable and clean.
The shower room shower head needs replacing, there was not enough hot water during our stay and a couple of light bulbs also needed replacing.

Great property and location.
There was nothing we didn’t like - i bought an extra pillow from supermarket as single bed in loft room pillows need replacing.

Though cottage was well equipped, the amount of space was surprising. No outdoor space but that really didn’t matter at there’s a nice beer garden opposite behind a car park. Views from the attic room were just lovely. Great location, easy to walk to the town centre where there plenty to do. Before we arrived the host was great and contacted us prior to arrival with all details we needed to park and enter the property. Toys and games a nice little bonus for the kids.
The attic was extremely hot! I did t want to leave the roof window open as I have 2 small children, also couldn’t turn off the radiator up there. Please provide 2 fans for the accommodation 👍🏻. Ariel for the tv kept coming out so had to keep attending to it to watch tv. No cleaning liquids to give everywhere a quick once over (although the house was pretty clean, I’m just fussy). Shower head did work but would not stay in the holder so you had hold it over your head. Floors and skirting boards a were grubby. Half empty bottles of lotions and shampoos, perhaps left from another guest, if not these should be filled (nicer bonus for your guests).

Main bed a bit small

Location was great if your main priority was to be close Lichfield.
The first impression was a cold property, which on the surface presented ok. But when we checked the bathrooms we found the toilets to have a black substance in the bowel and the first floor shower looked grubby with yellow staining. The light at the top of the stairs on the second floor was not working which was a not very safe as there was no natural light there.

Location excellent. Car parking opposite property. Netflix provided. All good.
Cannot think of anything that was a problem.
