Tranquil retreat
Lovely and comfortable cottage. We went in December and lit the wood burner just for the romance. Welcoming owners. Lovely walks around the area and near to Dorchester. Would recommend.

The gardens were amazing. Lovely clean, warm and well equipped kitchen.
Could do with a tumble dryer say in an outbuilding for all the properties to use as took a while to dry clothes.

The grounds are huge and stunningly maintained, the swimming pool is warm And beautiful and the cottage is spotlessly clean and the attention to detail is fantastic.

A perfect place to stay which we couldn’t recommend highly enough.
Woodcutter’s Cottage is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The cottage was immaculate on our arrival and every room was fabulously well equipt and furnished with everything we could have needed. The cottage is also set in beautiful gardens. Adele and Nigel had left excellent instructions about everything in the cottage, as well as some really useful local information and recommendations. They also, very thoughtfully left milk, bread, butter and a delicious home baked cake. Such kind touches which we really appreciated.
