The picture had a sofa and a double bed. No sofa was available in fact it was a very small 2 seater and I had envisaged my son or I using the sofa as a bed. kitchen was very limited and lacked so many things...

A nice comfortable stay, much needed after driving all night from Cherbourg ferry.

It was a comfortable, quiet, one-night stay. Gas cooker, fridge, microwave and kettle that all worked. No toaster sadly but otherwise good facilities. I liked the balcony. Just a view of trees, greenery and neighbouring gardens, but tranquil nonetheless. I liked the area, which had a nice shop closeby selling food and other useful household stuff. It had a bath but no plug, meaning shower only, so would dispute the description of ''bath or shower''. If you want a bath here, best to bring with you a variety of different sized plugs! Bedroom was conveniently large, which I really appreciated. Check-in, which involved giving passport and other details prior to stay, went quickly and smoothly, and subsequent typing of code outside to get keys was also hassle free. However, they have an over-enthusiastic team of robots(?) who like sending pointless and confusing emails, eg. telling me to submit those details to get code to enter the building when I've already done so. Thus making me think that perhaps first attempt at doing so had not been successful and the code they had already given me was not valid????? Extra bit of hassle I could have done without.

Nice initially, but got rapidly worse.

Nice area, balcony, shop closeby, and facillities. Managed to have a bath despite the lack of plug, by wrapping a plastic bootle top in polythene and surrounding it with elastic bands, pushing it in, and keeping my heel firmly on it as I lay there submerged in blissful hot water!

Again, I found the spam emails a bit of a nuiscance. Although customer service were quick to respond to my email and reassure me that there was in fact no problem at all (despite the email they had earlier sent which suggested otherwise, which reminded me to submit passport and personal details to get my entry code when I had already done so and recieved the necessary code!), I was very busy and could have done without the unnecessary confusion. As it was, there was no problem, but please ditch the emails suggesting there might be. Also, gonna have a real dig here about the alleged ''Soundproofing''. My second stay here was pretty much ruined by the arrival of what sounded like a large family moving in above me and bringing all their furniture with them! The noise was truly horrendous, making me doubt the existence of ''Soundproofing'', and causing me to give up on sleep completely and leave the place at 2 in the morning and get in my car and start the next day's drive to Italy much earlier than planned! I wouldn't even suggest to other prospective guests to bring earplugs, as I eventually put some in my ears but to little positive effect.

Very disappointing accommodation and very poor value for our money.

As an elderly couple, we found the winding stairs up to the 4th floor very difficult, especially carrying our suitcases. In the kitchen we had no way to heat water to make a hot drink- no kettle and there was nothing we could light the stove with. The oven and microwave were dirty. We did not take the rubbish down when we left, as requested, because we couldn't carry it as well as our luggage and there was no way we were going to go back up the 60 steps to fetch it!

Good location, bad administration.

Location

There was leftover food in the kitchen and a used condom on the night table, which clearly shows the room had not been properly cleaned. Some towels appeared clean, but overall the condition was unacceptable. On top of that, the lock code for the door provided didn’t work, and we were sent to another location. Before even arriving there, we were told to return to the original place instead, which caused unnecessary confusion and frustration.

Dirty Kitchen- Poor communication

The space was nice and check in was smooth

The kitchen was unclean. There was a frying pan of dirty fat in the oven and the bin was not emptied. There was very little kitchen supplies with no baking trays and minimal utensils. The oven was very old and you had to put your arm in to light it which felt very unsafe. The property replied when I originally complained but then stopped replying when there was discussion of a solution or compensation. Sent multiple emails and got no reply.

Excellent location

Great location and good value. Near the zoo and just a couple of minutes walk to the main tram line. The Basel Card to get free travel was a bonus too .Ideal to have a kitchen as well, as cooking at the apartment saves a lot of money. Easy check in and out. No issues.

Sufficient for a one night stay.

The ground floor apartment was large and well equipped. The keys were easy to access utilizing their instructions. The laundry room was accessible.

We could not figure out how to work the dryer. Luckily the washer wrung them well enough that we were able to get them mostly dry by morning, just hanging them around the kitchen. This was not the accommodation's fault but we had a very difficult time finding the location when we arrived by boat to Basel. Without an activated local phone, GPS/ Google maps lead us in all the wrong directions.

Not a nice place.

Pillows were flat. Lock box didn’t open with the code we were given. Had to call. Four flights of stairs, no elevator! No instructions for the clothes washer. The kitchen faucet was loose and moved crazily. The bathroom sink drain was clogged.

Warmly recommended

Very central, and incredibly good value for money, with great facilities: I was expecting a room, but it was more like a studio apartment. The free public transport ticket was much appreciated, and I liked the residential location and slightly old-school feel to the building.

Some small wear and tear and other relatively minor areas for improvement: the toilet seat was broken, and the shower curtain didn't extend all the way to the floor, so there was a bit of flooding. Other than that, warmly recommend.

That the quality of the apartment was not very good And the walls were thinner than styrofoam the upstairs neighbor was awake all night and doing all sorts of things we didn't sleep a wink unfortunately A few things in the apartment were broken including The oven, toilet, all taps, you can't even fry an egg on the gas it was that low, the shower was also not good the central heating boiler almost exploded when you stood next to it, the refrigerator was also broken The bed was not big 1 person blanket and 2 pillows where you don't even realize you have a pillow The floor was dirty as if it had never been mopped and there were stains on the ceiling Tried to reach the manager but unfortunately we were ignored Still a shame for that money In short I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Terrible

So so dirty. Hosts are not caring at all about your complains and the people taking care of the property cleaning are rolling down massive bags during the day which is causing explosive noises the whole day. Horrible way to run a business and the whole place was covered in spider webs, dust and dirt.

Bathroom edges etc dirty. Extractor hood didn't work, dangerously low with sharp edges. Hob old, no pans suitable for oven use. Broken fridge left in situ, could have swapped out for a cupboard. Could do with a refresh.

We are very plesent with our stay in Basel in this apartament. I recomend it to every visitor.

I called to the emergency phone number and I the person was very kind, he gave me the code from the safe and when I came to the address I eneterd the code and received the keys and enetered to the appartament. It was very easy, everything was easy from the airport with bus number 50 to exit near the address. It ook us less then an hour from the airport to the address. This is very quite place. No rush, absolutely silent. The apartament is placed in very nice area in the city of Basel. 10 min by walking to reach the center of the city.

Ideal für einen Stadtbesuch - Ambiente hat es nicht zum Verweilen - dafür gibts die Stadt

Die Fläche des Appartements ist grosszügig.

Als wir die Türe öffneten, dachte ich, darf doch nicht wahr sein, es schmeckte schlecht. Ok, wir öffneten kurz die Fenster. Gingen wen und kamen zurück, es roch immer noch. Das ärgerte mich. Doch am Morgen fand ich das Appartement ganz passabel. Kalt, nüchtern, funktional, hat das Nötigste (nicht zuviel)- Das Hauseingangslicht ging übrigens nicht, kein Problem, Handies haben Taschenlampen. Der für diese Zeit war der Preis und die Lage perfekt. Ich bin an sich persönlichen Empfang gewohnt und nicht Codes, daher nur 8 Punkte.

Za te pare super smeštaj, velika soba, cista posteljina, opremljena kuhinja, ok kupatilo, dobar položaj, ok wifi, za par ekstra. Lagano smo ušli prateći uputstva

Le condizioni generali piuttosto scadenti dell'edificio, dell'appartamento e degli arredi. Terzo piano e scale non illuminate. Bisognava salire con la torcia del cellulare.

Appartamento molto molto freddo e non funzionale

L'unico punto a favore è stata la gentilezza e la disponibilità del gestore della struttura. Perché avendo avuto diversi problemi nell'appartamento, si è reso molto disponibile per provare a risolverli.

Appena siamo entrati nell'appartamento c'era una puzza di pesce che invadeva tutta la casa. Per carità non è colpa del proprietario ma degli inquilini precedenti. Forse bisognava pulirla meglio e farla arieggiare di più prima di accogliere nuove persone. Sembrava di stare in una pescheria con reparto friggitoria. La casa era molto fredda perché abbiamo trovato i riscaldamenti spenti, ma nonostante li abbiamo accesi dopo 2 ore circa la casa era ancora gelida, perché i termosifoni non riuscivano a scaldarsi, una metà del termosifone principale era leggermente tiepida mentre l'altra metà era totalmente fredda, come se fosse ancora spento (vedere foto allegata). La casa è dotata di un piccolo cucinino, peccato che non ci fossero pentole né padelle per poter cucinare. Nonostante avevamo fatto la spesa, siamo stati costretti a mangiare fuori. Il gestore si è reso disponibile a cambiarci l'appartamento, e di questo gliene siamo molto grati, ma abbiamo risolto solo il problema della puzza, poiché il nuovo appartamento aveva gli stessi problemi di riscaldamento. Purtroppo non basta la disponibilità e la gentilezza...con -4° e la neve fuori, servono riscaldamenti ben funzionanti.

O quarto era agradável, tinha WiFi e TV e estava tudo limpo

Casa de banho abaixo da qualidade para o valor pago. O tampo da sanita não segura, o esquentador instalado na banheira e sempre a pingar. Além disso foi prometido acesso ao Basel card para viajar nos transportes da cidade de forma gratuita e estou à espera desse acesso até hoje...

Alles Ich mache Booking.com dafür verantwortlich, dass sie diese Unterkunft anpreisen, ist schlicht weg eine Schande. Die Heizung war auf stufe 1-2 also nicht wirklich geheizt. Im Wohnzimmer waren 2 Fenster gekippt. Wie auch das Küchenfenster. Man konnte den Tollen Sitz Deckel nicht vollständig hochklappen. Ich musste ihn mit der einten Hand festhalten, dass ich mich auf das WC setzten konnte. Alles sehr alt. Lavabo im Bad weisst mehre Sprünge auf. Parkettboden sehr veraltet und fleckig. So auch der Badezimmer Boden nicht richtig sauber. Der Wasserhahn vom Badezimmer viel zu hoch, dass Wasser spritzt gleich in alle Richtungen. Heisswasser Boiler sehr alt und laut, wenn man am Lavabo das heiss Wasser andreht, wird es richtig laut.

Komunikacja z wynajmującym. Pomimo wcześniejszej rezerwacji pokój nie był przygotowany i posprzątany na odpowiednią godzinę. Nie mogliśmy odebrać kluczy do mieszkania. Ale po naszej interwencji przyjechały osoby do sprzątania mieszkania po 1.5h i dopiero wtedy przekazano nam klucze do mieszkania. Jak się okazało nie było ono wcześniej sprzątnięte dlatego nie mogliśmy odebrać kluczy. Przez 15 min osoby sprzątające z pewnością nie byłyby w stanie odpowiednio przygotować mieszkania dla nowych lokatorów. Nikt nie dba o nowych lokatorów, bo sztućce były brudne i reszta mieszkania też w nienajlepszym stanie, jedynie pościel i ręczniki były świeże.
