Stayed at Downen House Bed and Breakfast last night. Found a little Nirvana in the ‘blo! Who would have thunk it. This B&B is meticulously cared for. Clean as a whistle. Everything is thoughtfully curated and intentional, throughout. My bed was like sleeping on a cloud. High threadcount linens. High quality mattress. Ever so comfortable. Loved every moment. DEFINITELY going to stay again. Tammy and Scott are outstanding hosts. They could not have been more accommodating. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and Tammy’s company, divine.

The hosts were very friendly and offered lots of amenities. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and breakfast.
Because it is an old building, the air conditioning is retrofitted and fairly loud. It did take a little getting used to.
