Cashelmara Burleigh - Hosted by Burleigh Letting

Method of getting keys. Burleigh town is a nightmare to find parking. Arriving at 5 pm made it difficult. A lock box would have been si much better. Disruption if parking due to cleaning and painting lines in basement was not sufficiently well notified. Nobody told us. Resulted in a $240 fine for parking in the wrong area.

Location was excellent. Size of the unit was great. Speed of collecting the keys.

Being informed that they were commencing outside works and that we would have to park outside on the street. Great when there is available parking but a nightmare on the weekends. Not enough communication between the letting agent and the Cashelmara Receptionist. The TV remote needs to be replaced and the runners on the sliding door require replacing.

Collecting the keys from The Burleigh letting Co in the Burleigh Shopping centre was easy, but they are a 1.2km walk away from the apartment. The location of the unit was good, and the kitchen and Bathroom had good facilities.

There is no air-conditioning in the unit and that was my fault for just assuming it would have it. Sayed on the Gold Coast many times but never stayed at place with no air conditioning. It was certainly needed this time of the year, maybe ok in winter. A few other things, the doorbell rang many times but there was never anybody at the door, the washing machine was handy but it was so loud we had to leave the apartment after putting a load on. The Pool is closed Monday to Friday until the end of May, which we were not informed of when booking, also the in-room Internet didn't work for 3 of the days and when I reported it to the service provider they couldn't fix it. Telstra mobile phone data reception is very poor at the apartment complex for some strange reason.
