Excellent location right in the center of the city. Communal areas of the hotel look like a luxury 50s hotel - very stylish, but old. Reasonable, although quite simple breakfast.
The room I was given was a complete opposite to the luxury feeling of of the building. Old furniture, no AC (only fan), tiny TV, wifi not reaching the room, almost non-working shower (very-very low pressure and hard to adjust temperature). Also the hotel has some weird rules/notices plastered around.

Clean and safe
Thera are some repairs on the street close to Dao Bento station. Ins not from Hotel is near by and is temporarily road repairs
