Our cozy vacation apartment, featuring a stunning 87-square-meter rooftop terrace at the tip of Eckernförde’s harbor, truly lives up to its name, "Sonnendeck" - located right on the beautiful 4-kilometer-long sandy beach and the romantic harbor
- lovingly furnished with 2 bedrooms and 1 living-dining room with an integrated kitchenette
- all rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and direct access to the southwest-facing rooftop terrace, equipped with 2 beach chairs, sun loungers, portable umbrellas, and various seating options, offering views of the lake and harbor (no lake view from the apartment)
- Bathroom with shower and bathtub - largely barrier-free
- Swimming and fishing right in front of the house, children’s playground, and water sports center offering windsurfing - Stand-up paddleboarding and catamaran sailing, boat tours in Eckernförde Bay, rowing club in the immediate vicinity, beautiful saltwater wave pool with sauna - easily accessible diving school, horseback riding, and a high ropes course, as well as other interesting destinations in the area - Extensive cultural program, including the Eel Regatta, Pirate Spectacle, Sprat Days, Eckernförde Classics, and events at the nearby city hall - Great shopping in the pedestrian zone or at the charming weekly market (Wednesdays and Saturdays) - Fish fresh off the boat at the harbor promenade can be enjoyed either in one of the many cozy restaurants or prepared yourself with a glass of wine on the wonderful rooftop terrace—pure maritime vacation fun!
