About this apartment rental
Welcome to the Strandläufer vacation rental—your stylish getaway right in the heart of Eckernförde. This spacious, approximately 100 m² vacation apartment is located on the historic church square, in the same building as our “Sprotte” vacation apartment, and combines a modern living atmosphere with a unique location between the old town, the harbor, and the Baltic Sea beach.
The lovingly renovated and high-quality furnished apartment accommodates up to six people and is ideal for families, couples, or a vacation with friends. The bright living and dining area with an adjoining, fully equipped kitchen invites you to cook together, enjoy meals, and spend relaxing hours in each other’s company. Three cozy bedrooms ensure restful nights. Two bedrooms are each furnished with a comfortable double bed, while the third has two single beds. Two modern bathrooms offer plenty of comfort and sufficient privacy, even when the apartment is fully occupied.
A special highlight is the sheltered rooftop terrace overlooking the church square. Here you can enjoy relaxing moments under the open sky and experience the lively atmosphere of the old town. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, the square directly in front of the house transforms into the popular Eckernförde weekly market—an ideal place to discover regional specialties and fresh produce.
Of course, free Wi-Fi and TVs in the bedrooms are available so you don’t have to go without anything even while on vacation. Your four-legged companion is also welcome upon prior registration. We charge a fee of €10 per night for dogs.
From the vacation rental, you can easily reach the fine-sand Baltic Sea beach, the harbor, and the promenade in just a few minutes’ walk. Right outside the front door, the pedestrian zone begins, featuring unique shops, cozy cafés, and numerous restaurants—the perfect setting for a varied vacation on the Baltic Sea.
If you’d like to explore the charming coastal landscape around Eckernförde by bike, you’ll find a secure bike storage area in the building’s entrance hall.
You can park your vehicle right in front of the accommodation for loading and unloading. During your stay, a private parking space is available to you in the parking lot of our veterinary practice, located about 300 meters from the vacation rental.
