My husband and I wanted a convenient location and a clean place to stay. This was perfect! It was just the two of us on this trip, but I can definitely see this being perfect for a family stay. The split-level layout would allow kids or teens to have their own space downstairs while adults relax on the upper level.
We only used the king bed in the master bedroom. It was comfy with high quality linens, so we slept great. The large flat-screen TV was nice to have there. The living space is comfortable with plenty of seating and large flat-screen TV. The full kitchen is great if you want to dine in. There is also an above-ground pool in the back, perfect to cool off on a hot day. It looked clean and well-maintained.
You honestly could just relax and enjoy this place to have a great vacation here, but I recommend you get out and explore the various trails, rivers, lakes, and waterfalls that this area has to offer. This location is convenient to Bristol Motor Speedway, Roan Mountain State Park, Watauga Lake and downtown Elizabethton. It is in a quiet neighborhood so there's no traffic to contend with.
The owners were very helpful and communicated well. I recommend you book this place.
