About this house rental
A newer addition to the Special Properties portfolio. Don't let the pictures fool you! This home is very clean and well maintained with all the amenities needed. The property sits on 60 feet of Green Lake shoreline on Blackbird Point which possesses some of the best water anywhere on the lake along with awesome views of both sunrise and sunset. Enjoy swimming in the clean, deep water off the dock. No muck, no fussing with weeds and good fishing. The home features 3 bedrooms and two sitting rooms which can sleep 6-7 people. The kitchen has newer refrigerator and dishwasher with all the cookware and utensils needed to enjoy home prepared meals. The level lot with room to roam is another key advantage of this property. There is ample space for auto and trailer parking. Reilly's Pub, a local favorite, is a short 5 minute drive away. Princeton Flea market is 10 minutes away and the Amish area attractions are 15-20 minutes.

This property is in a very nice quite area of Green Lake. Home is as pictured which is quaint but everything is definitely vintage from the coffee pot to the hair dryer and the bedding on the beds. Two things to note - the second floor is not really air conditioned and relies on the HVAC fan from the first floor. If you are a hot sleeper it can get warm up there. Second, if you are going to attempt to dock your boat even if just for a few minutes to use the bathroom the deck is soooo short and the owner's boat occupies most of the dock so its impossible to pull up to the dock even to load or unload people/supplies.

Our family has done an annual vacation on Green Lake every year for most of the last thirty years. This year we had the good fortune to rent the Bella Vista property on Blackbird Point which is our favorite location on the lake
We found the cabin to be everything we look for when we rent a property for the week. The accommodations were ample for our needs and in great condition. With three watercraft, we found more than enough parking for vehicles and trailers.
Access to the water could be improved with the addition of a ladder to assist the elderly amongst us in getting into and out of the water, but we managed.
We will definitely consider the property for next years vacation!

The pictures in the listing do not do this home justice. The home is much bigger than we thought and is immaculate. You can tell how well loved and cared for this home was. It is definitely dated but that adds to the charm of it. The view of the lake is beautiful and we spent time fishing and swimming off the dock. We will be back!
