About this house rental
Located on South Ridge Road, this lovely town-home features a private pier, central air conditioning, and galley style kitchen complete with a dining area and all necessary appliances. The cozy living room leads you onto one of two screened in porches perfect for unwinding with family and friends. Upstairs, you find a great master bedroom with en-suite, a full bathroom off the hallway, and a second bedroom that features a bunk bed and a queen size bed that looks out onto the second-level screened in porch affording amazing Chincoteague Island views.

We picked this rental from VRBO and it was exactly as it was described. The photos do not do it justice. Spotless comfortable and inviting. The screened in porches were awesome. They looked out over the marsh with bay views. The shore birds were beautiful and plentiful. The sunsets were so beautiful you couldn’t stop watching the colors wash over the sky. We have been going to Chincoteague for a long time and this is one of the nicest places we have stayed. The owners have a closet on the lower porch with everything you need to explore the marsh. You can fish or crab if you like or just sit on the pier and watch the birds. Oh…and the beds are comfortable! Very important to mention. We highly recommend Misty’s Thicket. We will definitely be back!!

Misty's Thicket is really cute and comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay in Chincoteague to celebrate a graduation. The view off the back is incredible and tranquil and the location is quiet and convenient. Inside, the townhome was very clean and well-appointed and had a number of terrific amenities. The staff were responsive to requests. We really enjoyed out stay-- but don't forget the towels and linens!!
