LES SALINES reconnecting with nature...

We had a great time staying at this property; the owners were lovely and helpful; the place is pretty, clean, and well equipped even though there was only a pod expresso machine instead of a regular coffee pot. The A/C was a must during the heat wave which struck when we were there. One of the best parts of the place is the large, very private patio with grill. the communal pool is wonderful as well. The village is lovely and the rental is situated along a scenic bike path that leads to the beach (lined with vineyards, water, horses, pine forest, cute farms, etc), only a 30min walk or 15 min bike ride away. We only wished we had known how small the place is. We requested a baby crib, but it could not fit within the main bedroom, which barely has space to walk around the mattress. Because putting the baby on the mezzanine loft was impractical (the stairs are not easy to maneuver), we had to make the baby sleep in the living room/kitchen area. Not ideal. For this reason, I would not say this is a good place for families, or perhaps for small families (I don't see how you could comfortably fit more than 4 people in there), or with older children (not infants). Other big downside: absence of wifi, very problematic for foreign visitors who often can't use their 4G on their phones.

Superbly well-equipped, very friendly hosts, convenient for beach and shops, delightful setting. Merveilleux!
