Our VRBO is located in beautiful downtown Charleston and just minutes away from MUSC, the College of Charleston, and King Street’s shopping and nightlife. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook up a feast, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and utensils. There's also plenty of counter and cabinet space for all your cooking needs.

The 3 bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for you and your guests to spread out. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and features comfortable beds, ample storage space, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light.

The Wonderer is a private club in Downtown Charleston, offering a 2-acre campus with resort-style amenities. As our guest, you will receive access to their Tulum-inspired pool, cabanas, restaurant and bar, fitness studio, wellness classes, and a recovery room unlike any other! Day passes and cabanas have associated fees.

Two weeks before your reservation date, all guests will be provided with a one-pager that includes booking information to reserve access to The Wonderer.

I will be available for whatever you may need as I live very close to the property. I will very likely be in the Charleston area as well, but it not, I can still provide guidance or recommendations for activities you may be interested in.

Hurricane/Weather Policy:
In the event of a mandatory evacuation order issued by the Mayor of Charleston County, guests must contact us within 24 hours to receive a full refund. This policy applies only to official mandatory evacuation orders.

House Policies:
To maintain the quality and condition of our properties for all guests, we enforce the following rules:
- No Parties: Hosting parties or large gatherings is strictly prohibited.
- No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the property or in areas where smoke may linger, such as porches or balconies.
- Property Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage to walls or property caused by hanging decorations or other actions.
- Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all.
- Firearms Prohibited: Firearms are not allowed on the property. Any firearm found will be considered abandoned and handled accordingly.

Location Disclosure:
Charleston is a vibrant, growing city, and guests may experience typical urban sounds, including traffic, nearby restaurants, bars, or general street noise. Construction noise may also occur in the area. While we strive to inform guests of potential disruptions, we may not always have advance notice of such activities.

Check in is at 4pm and checkout is 11am. Unfortunately we can not accommodate early checkins or late checkouts.
Abide by the checkout instructions. All trash will need to go to the bins by the time you checkout.
Charleston does have quite a few bugs, we have a professional pest control company service the house every month. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, keep doors/windows closed, food wrapped and store it in the refrigerator.

We had a group of 7 gals stay here for a bachelorette trip and it was FABULOUS! It was absolutely perfect and fit all our needs. We were so close to the CHS nightlife and could easily walk downtown for our day of shopping around. There was more than enough space and PLENTY of mirrors - absolute must for a girls trip. We loved that there was a big comfy couch for us to all snuggle on and watch reality TV in the mornings. Only thing I would recommend to the owners was a little more direction on how to lock the door (100% user error on my end, but it took a couple of tries to figure it out). Also, a broom and dustpan would be a great addition! I wanted to do a sweep of the floors before leaving but couldn't find a broom. Thank you so much for an amazing weekend! 10/10 would stay here again.

This house was perfect for a small group. The location was perfect and the house was clean and cozy. The property description mentioned off street parking would be available for to 1-2 cars, but the space barely fit 1 large car. We had to park our other car on the street. The queen bed described in the second bedroom was smaller than a typical queen bed, but it still fit our group of 6 comfortably.

The cleanliness of this property left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we took our toddler’s shoes off to let him walk around, only to find the bottoms of his feet black within minutes. The floors were clearly not clean, with leftover confetti (likely from a bachelorette party) scattered inside and outside the house. Additionally, we found black hair in the sheets of one bedroom before our daughter could even use the bed—disgusting and concerning when we’re paying a 195 cleaning fee.Other issues included a broken lamp in the King bedroom, with its cord awkwardly repaired with electrical tape, and a TV in the main room that required physically walking up to adjust power or volume as the remote didn’t function properly—not ideal for a vacation. Parking was another frustration: the cleaning crew and downstairs guests took our designated space, leaving us to waste time resolving it. Lastly, the King bedroom light was temperamental and often blinked off unless adjusted multiple times with the remote.While the location might appeal to some, the lack of cleanliness and numerous inconveniences made this stay disappointing. Cleanliness and functionality should be standard at this price point, especially with such a high cleaning fee.
