Every visit to Wales feels like stepping into a storybook. The traditional, old-fashioned hotels are full of warmth and charm, perfectly set within breathtaking countryside. Mornings are my favorite — sheep lying calmly beside the river, the crisp air, and frost turning the grass silver in the early light. The scenery is peaceful and unspoiled, creating a sense of calm that is hard to find anywhere else. Wales is not just a destination; it’s a feeling you carry with you long after you leave.

Room was very clean and tidy, the view in the morning was magical and we felt very cozy
The bed quality was a bit uncomfortable and really creaky but it was manageable

Breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable. The toilet needed the seat mending. It’s a pity it wasn’t realised before. Other than that we would stay again
Quite old fashioned when you go into hallway but other than that everything was good

Easy to find, good parking. Light, fresh dining room - good full English! Friendly host.
It all just felt a bit tired and, therefore, overpriced for what it was. A very creaky bed, a very poor bathroom, nowhere to sit comfortably in the room other than bed, just very average (and at £120 per night, a Premier Inn might have been preferable)
