We would stay again if we wanted to revisit the area

The property was great, well situated with Aldi just at the end of the street. Was clean and had most things you could need.

In the bathroom there is a beam that goes over the sink. You have the be careful of it as in the night I banged my head on it.

Nice cottage, garden and decent parking and the sun shine all week!

Plenty of parking space for two cars and a large garden for the dog, neighbour was very friendly and helpful during the time I was there on my own. Due to mobility issues I hired an electric scooter from GoShopmobility in St Austell and was glad that I did.

It was difficult for me to get up onto the garden climbing up big stones set into the wall. Sandy Cottage was opposite a school so was noisy at these times. Without the scooter I would have found it hard to get into town, also used taxis to get to The Eden Progect due to buses being infrequent.

Cosy, comfy, excellent location

Accommodation roomy + comfy, good kitchen, patio great + very accessible from Cottage. Grassed area large + good for dogs but a little difficult to get them up and down from although much better by final day! Perfect location from all the various beaches + within 30 minutes drive various other beautiful sights.

Shower gel + shampoo had unpleasant smell. No vegetable peeler. Recycling rules unclear as but a food bin + large red available,; quite strict + extensive in Somerset so went with that.

Very well located to local amenities, great private parking, bright airy rooms (even for a cottage), and an enjoyable place to be. Host incredibly helpful before and after checkin/out.

Lovely accommodation - be prepared to walk!

Lovely clean and quite spacious cottage.

The nearest, nicest restaurants were in Charlestown, which is a lovely little place but quite a bit further away than we expected. We don't like to use the car on an evening and it's a good half hour walk (up hill on way back!). It's exactly 1.5 miles from cottage to centre of Charlestown. It is worth it though!

Very comfortable cottage with everything we needed

The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival and was very comfortable and cosy. It was easy to use the appliances and the shower. Any queries were responded to very quickly.

The exterior patio looked as if it needed a bit of tlc, but the weather was not good enough to sit out .

Great for visit to Eden project

Well equipped kitchen - including tea, coffee & condiments, cosy living room with wood burner, comfy beds, great shower, only a few minutes’ drive from Eden project. Owner really good at communicating/responding to questions via messages and very thoughtfully provided some goodies and a lovely vase with roses for our arrival. Walking distance to Aldi. Cottage is part of a larger house, but no noise or interference from other people in the building.

In a residential/urban environment so no picturesque views as such, but we visited early spring so we didn’t need walking access to beach etc.

Comfy and relaxed

The cottage was very well presented, clean and tidy with comfy beds and a well equipt kitchen for self catering. The supermarket is just up the road, the bus to the Eden project goes from basically right outside the door and Charlestown is about a 20min walk away. It was perfect for our needs which was a short break in St Austell to hit up the Eden Project. Trees is a lovely and attentive host too. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area
