Wonderful stay in a clean, spacious apartment with an amazing host, Nikos.

The apartment in Chania was an excellent choice: spacious, comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Everything worked perfectly - the stove, kitchenware, fresh clean towels and the location is great, in a quiet area with a supermarket nearby and only 20 minutes walking from the city center. But what really made the difference was the host, Nikos. He is an extraordinary person: always available and attentive whenever I needed. I had a small issue during my stay, and Nikos personally came to solve it with incredible patience, reassuring me and making me feel calm. That made me feel truly welcomed, even while being away from my home country. It is rare to find someone so professional and, at the same time, so genuinely human. Thank you, Nikos, for making my stay in Chania even more special. Without a doubt, I strongly recommend it.

Location was good, close to the city center in a nice neighborhood.

Unfortunately, our experience with this property was quite disappointing. From the start, there was a lack of clear communication and preparation. We received no instructions prior to arrival regarding how to access the apartment or what to expect, which is typically standard for most rentals. Upon arrival, we had to reach out to the owner for help opening the door, and the only response was that we should call upon arrival. We arrived at 6 PM and tried to contact the owner for nearly an hour with no success—no replies to calls, messages, or through the booking platform. Eventually, another resident kindly helped us get in touch with someone at the property, but the interaction was far from welcoming. Only after this delay did we receive the lockbox code via the app, followed by a call from the owner. Even after entering, there were no clear directions about which apartment was ours, so we had to search around the building. The apartment itself was not in good condition: the kitchen was poorly maintained with dirty utensils and appliances, and there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms—only in the living room. Cleanliness overall did not meet expectations, and no information was provided about the Wi-Fi either. While we understand that delays and miscommunications can happen, the lack of preparation, poor responsiveness, and the condition of the apartment made this stay quite stressful. We hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

The host was exceptional and very helpful. The apartment was exceptional, it had all the facilities. The beds were comfy. Very close to the center especially by car. Great experience !!

Exceptional

The apartment was very spacious with good lighting and airflow due to lots of windows with curtains to maintain the privacy. Everything was very clean, kitchen well stocked and the beds were comfy. We booked last minute and arrived a bit late at night, but they managed to give us a very friendly welcome and taking the time to explain everything in the house. Very good value for the money, 100% recommend!

Άνετο διαμέρισμα με μεγάλους χώρους. Δίπλα στο κατάλυμα υπάρχει ένα οικόπεδο με ελιές που μπορείς να παρκάρεις άνετα. Είναι υπερυψωμένο ισόγειο, οπότε τις ημέρες καύσωνα ήταν δροσερό. Η κουζίνα ήταν καλά συντηρημένη κι άνετη. Βρίσκεται σε έναν ήσυχο δρόμο, παράλληλα του κεντρικού δρόμου που οδηγεί στους τάφους των Βενιζέλων. Κοντά υπάρχουν σούπερ μάρκετ, φούρνοι, ψησταριές κτλ

Η περιγραφή luxury είναι κατά τη γνώμη μου κάπως υπερβολική! Πρόκειται για διαμέρισμα τουλάχιστον της δεκαετίας ‘90, αλλά πολύ καλά συντηρημένο κι ανακαινισμένο. Δεν έχεις την αίσθηση ότι μένεις σε ένα παλιό διαμέρισμα, αλλά ούτε σε ένα σούπερ λουξ!! Επίσης, αρνητική εντύπωση το γεγονός ότι κατά την άφιξη δεν ήταν στρωμένο αν και ήταν καθαρό, αλλά ο ιδιοκτήτης μας έφερε σεντόνια και πετσέτες για να το τακτοποιήσουμε εμείς (οκ μπερδέματα μπορούν να συμβούν). Συνάμα, θεωρώ ότι ήταν ακούσιο το μπέρδεμα του ιδιοκτήτη σχετικά με τον αριθμό των φιλοξενούμενων ατόμων, για το οποίο χρειάστηκε να επιμείνω να τσεκάρει την κράτηση στο pulse για να βεβαιωθεί ότι δεν τον κοροϊδεύουμε 🤨

O apto é amplo (comporta bem 6 pessoas), com sacada, e tem o que se se necessita para uma estadia curta. O anfitrião é presente e atendeu bem as nossas solicitações. Na minha opinião, o banheiro deveria ter um box e não cortinas no banho. Se precisar, há um bom supermercado bem perto.

Da distância do centro da cidade. Avaliei mal e fica distante, mas há ônibus (que demoram a passar) e o serviço de táxi é eficiente e não tão caro quanto em outros países (França, por exemplo).
