The lady who owns the caravan is lovely, and couldn’t do enough. But I would rather pay extra to have the extra things.

It was close to the town

It wasn’t very clean the pots were dirty, the beds were uncomfortable and I didn’t realise we had to take our own towels. we got kicked off of the site because our 4 year old were just being a child and the neighbour wasn’t happy.

Winter Visit - Average

The living room and kitchen are big and easy to move around.. sofa is very comfortable, playing cards were there which was nice for passing time. This place is a very good choice for summer but not for winter. There is no network coverage so please be there before resort office closure time or you may face difficulties in identifying the property, though this property is on the main road. Initially we couldn't connect with landlords after booking but later it was sorted and they have given a good response after that. This place was not bad but i felt this was overpriced for winter.

1. Duvet and linens are old and with stains. Even though we paid an additional 15 pounds, it shouldn't have been in such bad condition 2. Heating is slow and couldn't be increased. Boiler settings are a bit tricky. 3. The water drain on the kitchen is slow 4. Bathroom Shower speed is very slow 5. Utensils are not cleaned 6. The bedroom sizes are small ( maybe I expected it to be bigger) 7. The bed couldn't have been stronger as we can literally feel the springs 8. Usually coffee and tea bags will be there but only one sachet of each was there ( again my expectations could be wrong ) ,i bought some the next day.

Onsite shop was priced ok for any essentials and we used the asda and aldi in town which was a max 10 minute drive. We all slept fine - seagulls did wake us up a few mornings...but hey what did we expect! We even got a uber eats delivered easily!

Think before you rent this place

Whilst we were staying here. I went on this app to read negative comments as we were unhappy with the state of the caravan. Ripped curtain. Dirty carpets, broken bed with 6 missing slats. So as I clicked the reviews as helpful. I then get a message from Natasha the host asking me if everything was ok? I told her my grievances in reply. My punishment for doing so? She refused to give my £100.00 deposit back. 2 messages to her were ignored. So I had to go to Booking com themselves and they can't get my money back, she has refused to it would seem. They did however give me a voucher for a 3rd of the deposit as a token gesture. Not good enough as we left the caravan in the same condition it was given to us. The location is perfect though. My advice is don't stay here. I've stayed in far better caravans via Booking.com.

Not getting my deposit of £100.00 back. Check the reviews. Someone has mentioned the deposit before myself now.

Was great for what we needed.

It was in a good spot. Loved the size of the living room, plenty of seats and a dining area. The two WC’s and the three bedrooms. Plenty of cutlery cups and plates and cooking pans. Lovely sized fridge. Lots of storage space.

The lounge carpet is in need of carpet cleaning and had dark fluffs of hairs coming from it. The dining room table was very wobbly. We were concerned it would break. The bottom drawer in the right side bedroom front came off. The double bed slats kept coming off on the side by the door. The window side was comfortable. The dust pan and brush were filthy with coffee stuck to them and so I washed the pan. The broom was broke in half and as it is metal is dangerous as it was sharp. The key kept going round when locking.

Place , quality of facilities, value for money, great owners , close to the town and a few nice beaches, great place to start all your journeys.

Mattresses could be a bit harder for my liking but for a 3 night stay it was not so bad ;)

Bed unfit for purpose in main room was broken when arrived and could not be slept in It had clearly been like that a while and never addressed And broken door meaning kept getting locked in room

A lovely, peaceful break away with the family!

The location was amazing, lovely quiet site. Lodge was clean and modern and communication with owners were good. Shops on site were great. Had a really enjoyable break, thank you!

It could have started even better.

We loved the resort and the arounds.

The cleaning. From the moment we stepped in the lodge I realised it wasn’t cleaned after the previous guests. It was very hard to get in touch with the landlords to sort everything up. We started our small holiday by buying cleaning products, disinfecting and cleaning the lodge, washing and deying the laundry (that wasn’t changed) etc. I contacted booking.com as the landlord was hard to get in touch with. What bothered me the most was the fact that we were waiting there in the living room with 2 kids (8 and 3 years) hoping someone would come to clean a little bit. After 3 hours with no reply from the landlord we started the cleaning. At the end I was given a discount (1 night money back and no payment for the dog) for the bad experience. Regarding the dog, the cleaning fee is just a matter of getting more money from the guests. When you clean after the guests, it’s obvious you clean after the dog. It’s not like you clean extra because I brought my dog. When asking for extra money for the dog, you as lander must offer something for the dog: a dog bed, bowls for food and water, treats. Yes, I would be more than happy to pay even double the fee for the dog. So, I don’t consider that not paying the “cleaning fee” for dog is something discounted.

Great caravan, close to beaches!

Nice caravan, close to nearby shop and a short distance to walk to venue and indoor pool. Staff seemed happy to help. All amenities provided.

Information with regards to passes, key code was not loaded onto booking site so was last minute but worked out fine.

Lovely stay in a comfortable lodge in a good location with great facilities. Would come back.

We were a party of 3 and there was plenty of space. The lodge was comfortable and clean. It is in a good resort with a bar and entertainment and we spent some time in the indoor pool which is a good size. A taxi into Newquay (we didn’t have a car) was about £13 and client service at the park will help with taxi recommendations. It cost £30 per group/lodge for access to the bar and all entertainment and the swimming pools for the duration of our stay. A walk to Porth Beach (which has a pub) was about 10-15 mins. There is a Nisa local shop on site for food and drink etc.

Would be good to have some outside seating.

perfect stay at ‘our lodge’ and can’t wait to return

Just got back from a lovely stay at our lodge at Newquay Bay resort. Not entirely sure what the previous reviewer was on about, there were lots of facilities at the resort, just an additional fee for use. Natasha and Tyler's instructions to find the caravan were spot on. We parked the car seconds from the caravan. The location of the resort could not have been better with quick acces to Watergate bay and Padstow to the north and Newquay and Fistral to the south. The caravan itself had everything we needed Iincluding washing up stuff which I've never had provided before with other caravan stays. Though our stay was short we would definitely be back and recommend Lusty Glaze restaurant for Sunday roast and Francines for Fish and Chips. Thank you Natasha and Tyler we will definitely be back!

The park home itself was really spacious, clean and well equipped with everything we needed for the stay. Location was really good, close to the beach and plenty of parking, the park home had a smart tv and wifi which was a nice tough. thanks again!
