The layout of the house for a family from 1 to 67 was great and a dog. Setting on the edge of the lake with stunning view’s excellent . Use of the spa and pool added bonus.

Everything was perfect. I’d advised bringing something to tether your fog as mine kept wandering off as property patio is open but we found a way of tethering him on a long lead.

We were all so impressed with the property - it was beautiful, modern, spotless and had everything we needed for a self-catering weekend get together. The jacuzzi was a lovely addition, and perfectly warm on our arrival! We wouldn't fault our stay and would love to return.

The only challenges were nothing to do with the property itself - it was tricky getting parking for the number of cars we had in our group - but that was easily managed by the Lower Mill Estate staff on hand to help.

The oven was dirty and full of grease day 1 of our arrival. We could only have 2 showers and the water turned cold, there was 8 of us at the property. Even after ringing to report nobody came to fix, and upon reading the house book these are not new issues! The general upkeep outside and inside was very poor!! Spider webs covered the building and the windows were dirty. There was a little table and chairs on the first floor veranda that belonged in a tip! The beds were like sleeping on concrete. Under the couches and chairs there was an inch of dust! You are portraying an upmarket property with the price tag but the reality is far removed. The reeds were so high from the deck, you could not view the lake from where you sat!
