Having undergone careful restoration, many of this home's original features are still intact, so you can expect terracotta floor tiles, vaulted ceilings and a working fireplace. Head up the stairs to the mezzanine level and you'll find a cosy living room beneath rustic wooden beams. Outside, you'll have your own private garden, complete with a pretty patio where you can sip coffee and enjoy a home-cooked breakfast. Spend the day chilling out by the infinity pool or jump in the car and head out to explore, the choice is yours. A trip to Montelupo Fiorentino is highly recommended. The Medieval hilltop town has an air of old-world ambiance, thanks to castles and churches that date back to the Middle Ages. Wander around the colourful streets lined with pastel-stuccoed buildings or pay a visit to the archeological museum to learn more about the area's rich past. When you get home after a busy day, fire up the barbecue and tuck into an alfresco feast on the patio. Be sure to pick up a bottle of local wine (Montelupo is known for its quality Chianti wine) and then jump in the hot tub to relax and watch a spectacular Tuscan sunset.
