Hotel Tartu

Location is very close to the Central Bus station and several large shopping malls. Also within 15-20 minutes walk to the Old Town.

I was dropping off my daughter for her master's degree. I honestly did not know what to expect, and was highly impressed when we arrived. The breakfast was excellent, the room phenomenal - especially the bathroom and the location of the hotel was central to everything.

I liked everything.

Excellent location, friendly staff. As for the breakfast, it was not included. The receptionist advised the museums, the science museum AHHAA, and the water center Aura.

It seems that hotel is reconstructed from old students dormitory. But it was done quite ok. As far as this location in Tartu is very noisy, they made a very good sound isolation between the rooms as well. But location is good for travelling - 50 meters literally till bus station. There is no coffee-machine in the room, so staff was very helpful to make hot water. Breakfast was usual and it was ok.

You can't open the windows because of motocycles roaring (what municipality is doing with them?), but AC is working strongly. Pillows are very tough and high.
