Cenote + Swim-Up + Luxury Condo

The location is perfect. The apartment is beautiful and we loved the swim up pool. The gym is huge and we’ll equipped.

We had a huge problem with noise from the neighbors. The listing says that no parties are allowed but apparently that only means that you can’t have a party but other people can! The units are very close together so you can hear everything, especially when others have the sliding doors open to the outside. The first night the music was so incredibly loud that we contacted the host who said we weren’t the first people to complain and that he would let the front desk know. Nothing changed- they continued to party until 2am. The next day we were relieved that hopefully the party was over but at 4pm the music was back on and guests started arriving! They must’ve had 40 people with live music! We were really upset because we couldn’t even enjoy the outdoor space anymore. We ended up closing all the doors and turning on the tv to try to drown out the noise. Not what we wanted to do on our vacation!! We contacted the host and he said we had to talk to the front desk. We talked to the front desk and they said there’s nothing they could do because it wasn’t after hours (which doesn’t matter because they didn’t do anything the night before either). We ended up going over to the neighbors and he said he was allowed to have parties and he owned multiple units there. His place was clearly set up for parties- there was a full bar with bar stools and he had an entire staff the whole weekend. If you’re looking to relax I don’t recommend this place. It’s not worth how much they’re charging. In the photos they strategically angled them so you can’t see that the buildings are still under construction on the other end and not everything can be used yet. There are 3 spaces with bars and stools and none of them are open- just empty. The hanging chairs were all broken- when you sit down it stretches to the floor. The rooftop pool is nice but it’s pretty small and hard to find space to hang out. There are lots of mosquitoes and ants all over the apartment, 1 dish towel, not enough tp.
