This beautifully updated lakefront unit offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a fully stocked kitchen, new floors, countertops, furniture, and a spacious screened-in porch that serves as a second living area with comfortable seating and dining options. From the porch, you’ll enjoy treehouse-like views of the lake and surrounding landscape, while the inviting main living area features two recliners, a new couch, a dining/game table, an electric fireplace, and a cabinet filled with books, puzzles, and games. The loft bedroom includes a king bed, private bathroom, cozy reading corner, and a desk with second-story lake views, while the downstairs bedroom has two full-size beds, smart bedside lamps with USB ports, and direct access to the bathroom and washer/dryer. Both bedrooms and the living room are equipped with Smart TVs (please note: no pullout sofa). The cheerful kitchen has been refreshed with new countertops, refrigerator, sink, and painted cabinets, making it a bright space to cook, pour a glass of wine, or start the day with coffee. Our 3 night stay was so peaceful. Our unit was immaculate and functional. The screen porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee and long talks. I would highly recommend this host and unit.

I'd love to give this a 5 star rating, but unfortunately when I arrived to check in, I learned that they had cancelled my reservation and booked the condo for another guest. Because of that we ended up in a much more out-dated condo. I'm very pick about where I stay and the view was really important as well. We were not refunded any money and were told we had to pay the same amount for the lesser condo because prices are set by number of bedrooms, and not the quality of the condo.We enjoyed our time there, and the location was pretty good. But the view was skewed by trees and there wasn't much privacy from your neighbor when you sat outside. The outdoor furniture was worn and had holes in it so it made it hard to sit in as well. The sleeper sofa was extremely dated and uncomfortable (luckily it was just my 13 year old sleeping on it and he didn't mind). I hate to complain because it's a great resort, but there were some books issues that made the stay not as good. We will definitely revisit Green Turtle Bay but will choose a different condo (and will keep our fingers crossed that it works out!).
