Comfortably developed and fully equipped trailer on the North Sea

We completely renovated an old construction trailer, furnished it comfortably, and turned it into a cozy lodge. A light Mediterranean touch, a light-filled space, and a certain openness to the outside world were important to us.

The lodge, which is about 14 square meters in size, features a small, summery country-style kitchen, a dining area for up to three people, and a romantic sleeping area with a double bed in a Nordic rustic style. The lodge even has a bathroom with a shower (240 V - DLE, so unfortunately only warm water), a toilet, and a sink. A convector heater provides cozy warmth when needed. The house includes a terrace with patio furniture and sunshades. Adjacent to the lodge is a wild garden overgrown with ancient trees. Parking for one car is also available.

The furnishings are tasteful and practical—children are welcome to run around here. Simple bicycles and a vacation library are provided. We provide fresh linens and towels.

This house is just as suitable for solo travelers or couples as it is for a small family. Even when fully occupied, there’s still plenty of space for some quiet time—reading, reflecting, going for a walk, or simply sleeping in.

After many years abroad, which we often had to spend in uncomfortable hotel rooms, we built and furnished our lodge exactly as we’d always wanted: open, sunny, practical, and cozy—with Mediterranean flair and Nordic comfort. Visitors should feel welcome—enjoying rural life, a large, wild garden, and peace and quiet when needed; children should be able to run free, ride their bikes to the sea, and climb trees. Get fresh milk from the farm, go horseback riding, fishing....

Right next to the Up’Lodge, our safari lodge for two additional guests has been available since 2019. You’re welcome to book it as well, bringing the total number of sleeping spots to four.
