Handily situated in the old town, fifteen minutes walk from the bus station. No local bus connection. Compact, clean room with comfortable bed. Fridge would have been handy. Bathroom cramped. No plug in wash basin. Knees touched bath when sat on toilet. Room on top floor. Irritating noise from adjoining property extractor fan, despite window and shutter closed. Sounded like a fog horn and I'm partially deaf! Would recommend stay, but potential guests should avoid rooms on Floor 5.

24/7 reception, kind and helpful.

Had someone enter my room at 0300 in the morning.
The walls are paper thin, and next door put TV on from 2230 all night. Absolutely disgusting.

On a friends recommendation we booked this hotel as we wanted city centre and a no frills hotel. It has no dining or leisure facilities but we didn’t want that. It was clean and beds comfortable. Staff very pleasant and extremely helpful. HS has good arrangement with public car park close by. Would book again
