About this house rental
COMFORT & CONVENIENCE. We thought carefully about what we liked best about other short term rentals we had stayed at in the past with our boys, then poured our hearts into this place while remodeling for months. Honestly we went overboard! Here's a list of all the gifts we want to give to our guests we blew coin on: This home is was professionally remodeled inside and out and also has a Volley Ball/Badminton court within a privacy fenced back yard. In that same back yard our guests can dine outside on new exterior furniture with a BBQ grill provided at night under romantic lighting strung up. Wireless WIFI Roku as well as flat screen TVs in bevery bedroom and in the living are available. TV trays in the living, black out curtains in the blue bed as well as a desk for workers on the go. An electric fireplace will keep you very cozy in the living while you play plenty of games we have left. The kitchen is stocked with everything including a crock pot and margarita glasses if you get the notion, everything but food, spices and someone to cook for you. The bath/shower combo has a fun shower head that lights up in a variety of colors and we have set up dispensers like a hotel for body wash, shampoo & conditioner. Double vanity for couples in a hurry to get going. The mattresses, sheets, comforters, towels, pillows were all selected because they are super soft and pretty. High flow fans were installed in the yellow and blue bedrooms for hotblooded guests or for those who want white noise while they sleep. The two car garage has electric doors for easy access. We installed security lights and cameras for additional guest safety. Oh, did I mention we allow dogs but there is a $200 fine if we find pet hair on any of the furniture I cluding on beds? $150.00 fee per dog per visit! You are welcome here, this is your home away from home while you visit Abilene or just get away for a little bit. Come Escape to Jose and Tarae's.

The check in process was easy, and when I needed to get in touch with the host, she was quick to respond. We had plenty of room for 2 adults, a 16 year old, and our dog. We had what we needed to make a few simple meals. We were there for several 100 degree days, and the air conditioner had trouble keeping up. There are fans in the bedrooms that help move air which helped cool things down. The neighborhood is quiet but rundown. We were close to everything we needed.

The fenced in yard is great if you have a dog. Plenty of room for them to run around. House was solid with all the kitchen equipment you need, but the knobs on the sink are nearly fully stripped. Bed in the front bedroom was very comfortable. The paint on the bathtub was chipping.Biggest drawback is the neighborhood. We walked our dogs one day and had 5 stray dogs just run up to us. Thankfully nothing happened luckily but you never know. Probably saw a stray dog just running the neighborhood every other day. We had to take our dogs to a park or somewhere else the rest of the time because we didn't' feel safe. Also heard gunshots several times at night.
