Fantastic property in a great location. We enjoyed watching the nature from the balcony as well as canoeing and swimming in the river. Lots of chateau and wineries nearby to visit.

Outstanding property. Only let down was you get hit for 20 per head which clock up to 80 for four for sheets and a small towel. The pillows you get one small one each. The sheets which for the price is not good enough and should be changed every week.

Beautiful setting and lovely house. We enjoyed a wonderfully calm and tranquil holiday. Wildlife around the property is top class.

What a stunningly beautiful setting. It’s like being *in* a painting by John Constable. The river and surroundings are just exquisite. The house is beautifully furnished too. The owner greeted us personally and was warm and kind, and the checking out was very smooth. As others have said, it’s not for the elderly or for young children because the stairs to the bedrooms are effectively a ladder. It’s an old building, so inevitably quite a few dusty corners and the oven is small as is the dishwasher.
