Vacation house in front of the sea - access to the sea from the garden gate

We were 12 adults/teens/seniors that visited for 9 days from Canada. House was perfect for our party. Comfortable for all ages. Spacious, lots of places to spread out, never felt like we were on top of each other. Pool is great. Big enough for all of us to do morning Aquafit. Close proximity to everything you will need. Short drive to vibrant towns of St Anne with its markets and St Francois. Great island for family adventure from volcano hikes to scuba...jungles and beaches. People are friendly and helpful. Get out and enjoy the island. Things to watch for: 1) you may lose water once or twice. This is a Guadeloupe issue and not specifically re the house rental.. they have rotating water shut downs at night from about midnight to 5am. 2) locals have passable English but a working knowledge of French would definitely be an asset. 3) roads are windy and steep. Never a relaxing drive for the driver. However I would encourage car rental and exploration. Highly recommend the island and this house rental.
