Welcome to Pura Vida En El Lago!
Welcome to your slice of paradise on Lake LBJ! We are absolutely thrilled to host you. This home has been in our family for over a decade; our children grew up here, and we hope to share that same wonderful experience with you. "Pura Vida" translates to "pure life," and we hope you experience exactly that during your stay. The beauty of our specific location on the lake is that we are up past the shoals where the big wakeboard boats cannot access, making it incredibly safe and peaceful for you and your family to play and relax. For thrilling adventures on the water, take a kayak or paddleboard to explore a hidden waterfall, or paddle up toward the dam to see wildlife and birds. If a slower pace is calling your name, you can spend your days fishing, swimming, or simply floating and sunbathing right off the dock. For unforgettable shoreside activities, you can explore nearby hiking trails, tour the famous Hill Country wineries, or simply kick back on the deck to enjoy a stunning lakeside sunset. Whatever brings you here, our home is designed to be your perfect getaway.
You’ll find multiple places to gather outside, including the large covered patio with a fireplace and a great view of the lake to enjoy a morning coffee. A friendly game of darts or corn hole may be in order, and the kids will love splashing around on the small private dock. In the evening, fire up the gas grill/griddle on the patio and dine alfresco at the large patio table. When night falls, gather at the patio fireplace to roast marshmallows and trade stories about the day.
Inside you’ll find spaces just as charming. The wide-open floor plan has the game room, dining room, living room and a chef's kitchen in one open space. In your gourmet kitchen, you can cook while watching the kids and entertain your guests at the 12 ft. butcher block island while always enjoying a view of the lake from any part of the room. The entire wall facing the lake has floor to ceiling windows that sets the tone of your lake vacation with family and friends.

Dogs are welcome in this home for a pet deposit of $75 per pet.
Parking notes: There is parking in the driveway for up to seven cars.
Boating: You can access the house with a boat, but it has to have an outboard motor i.e. fishing or pontoon boats only.
Pets: The yard isn't entirely enclosed by a fence. The fences run down only the sides of the property.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Our host, Greg, was outstanding when came to communications. His clear, simple instructions on checking in and out made the process easy. He was always quick to respond to all of my text questions. He made us feel valued. The basket of snacks with the bottle of wine was greatly appreciated and enjoyed. As soon as you walk in front door, your eyes are drawn to the back wall of windows overlooking the lake. A spectacular view! We spent a lot of time on that back porch watching all the birds in the trees and all the water fowl on the lake. Being a home chef, the spacious kitchen was really welcomed. All the utensils you would need were available. Even the coffee brewer worked perfectly. You will not go wrong if you rent this home for a stay in Burnet. Oh , if you are a wine enthusiast, please visit Uplift Vineyards (reservations needed) and Persissos Vineyards. Just minutes from this home.

Great house in a great location. Lots of amenities and a very enjoyable stay. Kitchen is wonderful, enjoyed the covered patio as we had rain that was needed in the area. Played pool and visited with family. Would highly recommend to any one wanting to enjoy some time on the waterfront. Lots of birds and deer in the area.

I recently had the chance to stay at the Tranquil Lake LBJ getaway, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The property was exactly as advertised, clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing stay. The views of the lake were beautiful, and the atmosphere made it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.The amenities were excellent, and everything we needed was readily available. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat or a comfortable base for time on the water, this place really delivers. The host was also responsive and easy to work with, which made the entire process smooth.
