This work will occur daily between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. HST, and there will be construction noise, including noise from demolition, operating machinery, and carpentry. There may be intermittent impacts to resort amenities during the project.
** While we look forward to welcoming you, please be aware that the Hawaii Electric Company has notified us of periodic power outages that may impact our resort from time to time. These outages are part of the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) strategy that is being implemented across the island to proactively shut off power to help prevent wildfires when certain conditions exist. The Hawaii Electric Company expects these precautions to remain in place on the Maui, Oahu, and Hawaii Islands for the foreseeable future. As noted, these outages could occur at any time and may last for up to one to three days.

Have to say that the whole family had a great vacation in Hawaii at the Marriott Maui Ocean Club. We decided to pay a little extra for the Ocean front rooms and every evening we had a great sunset. These rooms are directly above the restaurant but being on the 6th floor it didn't have any effect. During the day, if you like lounging right by the beach, you may want to book ahead for the shaded beach cabanas as they tend to get booked in advance. Also, the last day we used the hospitality rooms to get showers before heading to our red eye flight home. These are very nice but only 2 showers per both rooms (4 total). Make sure you get there early enough to avoid the wait or plan ahead as lot's of people have the same plan. The facilities were awesome and likely the nicest pools in the area. The two rooms we booked were perfect for our family of 5. One room had a separate bedroom / living room and the kitchen worked well for doing our own fresh fruit breakfasts and sometimes we did lunch there as well. For the kitchen in the two room suite, it is well equipped. If you only book the one room, the kitchen is more or less a fridge and microwave. Very close the the local Safeway for groceries. My oldest son worked out onsite every morning and the facilities were well equipped and large. Plenty of things to do for the kids and everything was very well organized. Use the bell staff to help take up groceries, bags, etc. because you're on vacation!! The Marriott staff were very attentive and we had a great family vacation in Maui!

We had a nice relaxing vacation at Marriott's Maui Ocean Club. I guess we didn't read the description closely enough. We expected a full kitchen. We even bought ingredients to make cookies. So we were disappointed to not have a stove or oven. We have stayed other Marriott vacation clubs and also expected to have a washer and dryer. On this property, they do have a communal place to cook on stoves and they also had a public place where we did laundry.
Our room was clean. We had good customer service from Vacation Candy and at the resort. We enjoyed the nearby pool, beach, walking path and restaurants (Leilani's and Hula Grill). However, there was a leak from the patio into our room when it rained which got the carpet wet. The resort tried to remedy the problem with something to block the rain from coming in, but we still had wet carpet. Thank you! Overall we had a nice trip.

I made reservations for our trip to Maui at the last minute so did not expect that such a beautiful spacious room in an accommodating comfortable resort would be available. It far exceeded my expectations: location is perfect, service and cleanliness top notch, wonderful workout facilities and pools and other activities available. I highly recommend staying here and would stay here again in a heartbeat. VacationCandy staff were very responsive and I would definitely rent through them again.

We had a two bedroom ocean front. The beach was large and right outside our first floor room. The beach had some coral, but uncrowned. A more sandy part of the beach was just a short walk away along with restaurants and shopping. The pool was great and room was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and staff was very friendly. We would definitely return.
