About this house rental
Beautiful lakefront home in a quiet cove with plenty of parking for your vehicles and boat trailers. A sidewalk path leads down to a private deep water dock. The water in the cove is clear, clean, deep, and great for swimming and there is plenty of room to tie up your boat. The house is located at the south end of Lake Oconee, near the dam, and is only ½ mile to a public boat launch. You’ll be minutes from the popular jumping rock, a rope swing, and multiple peaceful coves for skiing or fishing.
The main level is made up of the kitchen, a large living room, full bath, and two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen size bed, a 42 inch flat screen, and a lake view through the large glass doors opening to the back deck. The second bedroom contains a king size bed and flat screen TV. The living room has a fire place, big screen TV, and a huge couch with seating for at least 8 adults. The large kitchen allows seating for 10-14 guests and a baby booster chair is available if needed. The back deck can be accessed from the kitchen, living room and one bed room and is supplied with plenty of seating to kick back, relax and take in the lake views after a long day playing on the lake.
The master bedroom is located on the upper level. The master has a king size bed in the main room and connects to a sitting room with one of the best views of the lake (also serves as a great nursery when needed). The large master bath has a shower and garden tub. The open stairwell and loft area have Plexiglas installed for safety and to maintain the openness of the main level.
Downstairs has two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a second living room and a game room complete with an 8 foot pool table. The first bedroom has a queen bed with lake views through the glass doors opening out to the lower deck. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with 2 comfy queen size mattresses. The large seating area has couches with built in recliners, a large TV, & accesses the outside deck as well.
Included for you convenience are adult and child picnic tables, a gas grill, corn hole boards, a paddle board, plenty of chairs that can be used for additional seating on the dock or decks.

We had a wonderful time at this house!! It was me, some friends and my dogs. The layout was perfect. Everyone had their own floor. The main floor living area had a huge couch where we all gathered. There’s a nice deck overlooking the lake. The walk down to the dock was pretty easy. ( I have mobility issues and I had no problem ). I also liked the flat driveway. You could pull the car right up to the front door and unload. It was very quiet and peaceful, but we were there after school started back. The lake was fun to explore by boat, which we rented from Sunlife Marina. We even boated to the Ritz Carleton for lunch one day! An awesome time was had by all.
