The cabin worked well for our family of 5(3 generations). The location was great. We hiked at Spruce Flats and at Middle Prong - each about 30 minutes away.
The cabin is surrounded by trees. The view of the forest out of the picture windows is beautiful. The hot tub was clean and we used it every day. And sitting around the fire pit at night was a delight for our family.

Location was secluded but accessible to great rides on motorcycles
This is not really a dislike but due to fall a lot of leaves fell and once wet was a small hazard when going down drive. We only pointed it out to the host the night before departure. They were more than willing to find a contractor to blow off the leaves prior to departure if they could find one at such short notice which was amazing of them. Next time we come we will let them know as soon as we arrive if there are too many leaves. If you’re in a car there is no issue. My friend had no problems with her car. It was just the motorcycles that slid a bit one day so after that we went slow going down the drive one at a time for safety.

The location is wonderful… in the Smokies but not far from town… or Pigeon Forge or Cades Cove, both just a short drive. I saw a black bear when I pulled up, listened to birds singing over coffee and rested my weary self in the hot tub. Extraordinary.
The pin code lock was a little tricky to figure out at first, but the property contact helped me almost instantly. It was easy after that.
