Highly recommend staying at Dreamy Cabin when you are in Townsend. We would stay there again.

The cabin worked well for our family of 5(3 generations). The location was great. We hiked at Spruce Flats and at Middle Prong - each about 30 minutes away. The cabin is surrounded by trees. The view of the forest out of the picture windows is beautiful. The hot tub was clean and we used it every day. And sitting around the fire pit at night was a delight for our family.

Location was secluded but accessible to great rides on motorcycles

This is not really a dislike but due to fall a lot of leaves fell and once wet was a small hazard when going down drive. We only pointed it out to the host the night before departure. They were more than willing to find a contractor to blow off the leaves prior to departure if they could find one at such short notice which was amazing of them. Next time we come we will let them know as soon as we arrive if there are too many leaves. If you’re in a car there is no issue. My friend had no problems with her car. It was just the motorcycles that slid a bit one day so after that we went slow going down the drive one at a time for safety.

When can I go back?!?

The location is wonderful… in the Smokies but not far from town… or Pigeon Forge or Cades Cove, both just a short drive. I saw a black bear when I pulled up, listened to birds singing over coffee and rested my weary self in the hot tub. Extraordinary.

The pin code lock was a little tricky to figure out at first, but the property contact helped me almost instantly. It was easy after that.

Nice little cozy cabin in the woods.

We liked this cabin. It met expectations and met our needs. There were a few minor things that knocked my rating down a little, but overall, it was a great place to stay. It was cozy and mostly comfortable. The couch was great. The kitchen table was big and nice and had a good light for our games of dominoes. The TVs entertained us when we wanted. The cabin was surrounded by pretty woods. The interior decor was nicely done. We had just about everything we needed. There were plenty of towels and blankets if needed. The kitchen was stocked with the basics, and there was a washer & dryer. It was a great value. The bottom bunk bed wasn't very comfortable for a tall adult who prefers firmer mattresses, but it sufficed. If you like softer mattresses, you will love it. The king-size beds were comfortable. The water heater didn't have unlimited hot water for 5 adults, so we tried to space out our showers and limit our usage so everyone could get a warm shower. It worked out. The lighting in the cabin was dim at night, but maybe that's to be expected in a rustic log cabin. There were a few burned out light bulbs, but it wouldn't have made a big difference if they were replaced. The lighting in the bathrooms wasn't great for the ladies to put on their makeup. Just one overhead light shining down above the sink made shadows on your face. The hot tub water looked slightly green, but we weren't going to use it anyway. There were coffee mugs that were not completely clean. The toaster had baked on residue on the inside and outside, so we bought ourselves one at Walmart. The bathrooms looked clean. The bedding was clean. There was a small space to hang clothes on hangers in two of the bedrooms. The main bedroom had no space to hang clothes. There were some pegs on the walls to hang jackets/clothes/towels, which were very handy. This is a lot of nitpicking, but it was a good place to stay overall. We were satisfied with our stay.

Secluded but close to everything

Lil Bear BnB is a perfect amount of space for a family (grandparents, child and spouse, and 2-3 grandchildren) or 2 couples with kids or 3 couples with no children. The cabin is beautifully decorated with all needed amenities. The sleeping areas are separated into two. A room with an attached bath on one side of the cabin. And, on the other side of the cabin is a small hallway that contains two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The bunk beds are spacious and bottom bunk can easily fit two adults. This is a perfect location. It is minutes away from the Townsend strip of stores entering the national park, but it is secluded enough to only hear the birds and squirrels. The cabin is so nice you might want to spend a day just relaxing in the hot tub and grilling. There’s an enclosed fire pit on a porch with string lights and swings that’s perfect for making s’mores on a rainy day. There’s also an outdoor fire pit with string lights and a swing that’s perfect for making s’mores too! We will definitely return to Lil Bear BnB!
