Windy Nest

We had such a beautiful stay at Windy Nest Homestay. The place itself is peaceful and surrounded by stunning views — waking up there felt magical. The family was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was also perfect, very close to Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arch Bridge, making it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean, comfortable, and full of warmth. You can really feel the love and care this family puts into the place. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ella.

We stayed a few enjoyable nights at Windy Nest; loved it. Very quiet, clean, comfortable - and lovely host family. Big, spacious room & bath. Nice balcony with seating & view. Tasty breakfast. A brisk walk - or short tuktuk ride - to Ella center, little Adam's peak, 9-arch-bridge; nice location & value. Dinner, tuktuk tours, other info & assistance available. Thank you. We'd stay here again.

Building is not visible from the street. Access drive/walk down is steep. But no problem. It's a hidden oasis.

Prachtig uitzicht, net buiten Ella ben je helemaal in de natuur en rust. Vlakbij nine arch bridge en little adams peak. Warme douche, schoon, goed bed, basic. Voortreffelijk lokaal avondeten en ontbijt. Lieve mensen.

Niet makkelijk te vinden, alleen 1 personeelslid spreekt Engels.

Very nice host family. Close to the start of the nine arches bridge and the little Adams peak hiking trails.

Unfortunately the room was very very damp, to the extent that there was condensation on the windows and it affected my breathing - I felt ill when I woke up in the morning and my clothes were damp after only one night. No hot water for evening shower. The entrance is under construction and the access is very steep. I chose the location because it was close to the hiking trails but it was actually pretty far from the main shops and cafes, so a closer place to the centre would have been better. I really can't understand the high ratings and unfortunately I wished I had spent more money (which would still have been a reasonable price) to stay in a nicer hotel. Sorry to the family who were kind and accommodating.
