Stay and enjoy the view
This is a lovely vacation rental with truly breathtaking views. Jenny was a fabulous host, who was easy to contact prior to arrival, welcomed us at check-in and was always available throughout our entire stay. The apartment has 2 balconies with beautiful lake views. The flat is fully stocked with everything you need and is so tastefully decorated. The surrounding neighborhood is charming, peaceful and so quiet, except for the occasional church bells. As mentioned in many of the previous reviews, there are stairs everywhere, but that is part of the apartment’s charm. There’s bus service up to the apartment, but it’s best to have a car; although we did ventured down into Brissago by foot, which was challenging but worth it. Loved absolutely everything about this apartment; thank you, Jenny!

Sehr gut, top Aussicht, nette Vermieterin, alles da, was man braucht, gute Küchenausstattung, gratis Bus zum Hochfahren an den Wochentagen (ca. 3 pro Tag), optimal für eine ruhige Auszeit.
Eine bessere Beleuchtung über dem Tisch wäre hilfreich. Räume eher kühl in den Wintermonaten, Bett eher hart

Bei der Planung unseres Urlaubs in Porta Brissago kamen einige Zweifel auf, da es nur öffentliche Parkplätze an einer schmalen Bergstraße gibt. Auch der Zugang zur Casa Ruth war zuerst nicht eindeutig und per Google einsehbar. Jenny hat uns es uns mit Ihren Antworten sehr leicht gemacht, uns für das Casa Ruth zu entscheiden. Das Video vom Parkplatz/Straße bis zur FeWo war sehr schön 👍🏻 Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Jenny am Parkplatz begrüßt. In der FeWo ist alles was man braucht vorhanden. Es hat zwei Balkone, einmal Sonnenseite morgens (Schweizerseite) Ascona/Locarno und die Italienische Seite (Cannobio) Es gibt einen kostenlosen Ortsbus 8 der alle Bergdörfer in Brissago bedient. Der Wanderweg hinab nach Brissago über viele Treppen und einer schönen Aussicht ist zu empfehlen. Besten Dank für die schöne Zeit. Matthias und Alexandra Gute Grüße an alle in Porta 👋🏻
Die große Bettdecke im Doppelbett könnte man gegen zwei einzelne austauschen. Da der Zugang zur FeWo über eine steile Treppe führt, könnte es für ältere Gäste beschwerlich sein.
