They are among the best beaches we have ever encountered. From our condo the views are unbeatable. We enjoy watching all the water activities, the turtles, porpoises, whales, etc., all from our unit. The collection of restaurants and shops directly across the street are very convenient and good. The microclimate here is drier than many other areas on Maui.
