Spooky rundown Les Miserables residence, please avoid.

The front garden was beautiful but not as beautiful as in the pictures. Old shabby residence not a hotel.

The bad vibes started well before our arrival when I started receiving multiple spam messages from the owners asking me for paying the full fee for the stay but the links were dodgy. So I didn't click on them. When I inquired from them, a message came that they were hacked and I should not click the links. But they asked for full payment before arrival which I did with best hopes for a glorious stay in a beautiful landscaped hotel garden. This place is not a hotel but a derelict run down residence comprised of 4 rooms which are scattered around the place. Very poorly lit. Our room had minimal facilties, quite old and rusty. The beds were uncomfortable. There was a damp stench in the room. The toilet and bathroom were scruffy. The lights were very dim. The kitchenette unit was old. The TV was old. As the facility was not as per the description, we discussed the issue with the owners. This proved to be quite tasking as they did not speak English and the lady who ran the residence was adamant that the facility was fine. The swimming pool looks lovely in the photos but was not clean and a lot of debris seen in the water. A huge number of mosquitos feasted on us in the hour that we were in the garden discussing with the owners. We incurred a lot of mosquito bites which needed antihistamines for the next few weeks. My son was particularly hurt as he couldn't stop itching the bites which then bled. Although we were very tired after 6 hrs journey, we decided to leave the property late evening, as we couldn't see ourselves staying there. The owners have refused any refunds, despite not providing any service to us. The residence was very spooky and empty with nothing to do. Please avoid and don't be fooled by the pictures.

Pleasant surroundings in a quiet and leafy neighbourhood

The area of Cap Brun in Toulon is a quiet and beautiful district with access to the sea and coves in many locations. It has excellent public transport links but a car is an advantage. The accommodation was adequately appointed but a little dated and minimal.

The arrival was not straightforward as we had some difficulty reaching the manager to open the gates. The manager was very pleasant but staffing at the property was very light as it was their low season. It would have helped to have this flagged up before our arrival.

Bon séjour aux Bastidieres

Emplacement au top dans un quartier très sympa de Toulon. Plage à proximité à pied. Propriété très jolie avec un beau jardin et un espace piscine agréable.

Studio un peu petit, prix de la nuitée un peu élevé sans le petit déjeuner qui est en surplus.

De prachtige tuin die zeer goed onderhouden is en een heel fijn zwembad.

Alles beviel, alleen de omliggende wegen hoor je wel. Daar wen je ook wel aan.

Het zwembad: fijne ligstoelen en een mooie plek.

Er is redelijk wat geluidsoverlast van de naastgelegen wegen. Ook worden er op het terrein party’s georganiseerd waardoor je niet meer rustig op je terrasje kunt zitten.
