Sarnia Skała House

The apartment was charming, and the view was stunning. The location is perfect—close to both the center of Zakopane and the Tatra Mountains. It is essentially a tastefully designed two-story wooden cottage with a basement level. It is situated near the owners, so they are available if anything is needed. The house was fully equipped; the kitchen had everything, right down to the spices, including a microwave, kettle, pots and pans, dishwasher, washing machine, and refrigerator. Everything was very clean. The second floor had three bedrooms: one with a double bed and two others with "one-and-a-half" size beds (small doubles). The basement, which has a low ceiling, had two additional floor-level beds, though we didn't use them. There are two bathrooms: one on the ground floor and one on the bedroom level. There is a small garden and balconies accessible from the rooms. It is important to note in advance that the owners require a 500-zloty security deposit as well as a tax payment in addition to the rental cost; the deposit is refunded at the end of the stay.

It wasn't clear how the towel warmer worked, and we also would have needed to ask the owner to prepare logs for the fireplace to heat the house. We didn't need to, though, because it was cozy inside.

Ładny nowy domek, blisko do centrum, spokojna okolica, szybkie wyjście na szlak, cisza, widok.

Pobierana na dzień dobry jest kaucja, faktycznie po fakcie znalazłam taką informację w opisie, ale było to dla nas dużym zaskoczeniem, gdyż dawno się nie spotkałam z pobieraniem kaucji, zwłaszcza gdy (i to moje drugie zastrzeżenie) dom znajduje 5m od domu właścicieli - na jednym podwórku. Zdjęcia niestety tego nie oddają, a uważam, że jest to istotna informacja. Przyjechałyśmy grupką przyjaciółek i nie czułyśmy się do końca komfortowo, zwłaszcza że taras jest tak zrobiony, że jest się stale na ich widoku. Jadąc do osobnego domu, a nie na kwaterę, liczyłyśmy na więcej prywatności. No i dyskusyjna sprawa pokoju na poddaszu, zwłaszcza łóżka w tej wnęce - brak zdjęcia.
