Retro Staycations

Our first experience of glamping as a little family. The kids loved the adventure as did I. I loved the vintage feel of the Airstreams, the interiors and the campsite itself. Comfy beds, a surprisingly decent shower and great chill out area in the front of the caravans. Sarah was a wonderful host and communication was great throughout. The shared toilets were clean and the farm shop covered our BBQ requirements. The kids had a blast making friends with fellow Airstreamers. I could've stayed a little longer, but it was already the second part of our IoW trip. All in all, a lovely introduction to outdoor life for us.

Not to do with Retrostaycations at all but the airstreams did not have a toilet which I already knew about. But we had a Kiddiewhizz for emergencies so all good!

Little Eva is super quirky and with original fixtures and fittings. I loved that it was unapologetically itself. Sarah is friendly and accommodating and the site is well kept and clean.

We loved the retro feel of it, I hadn’t anticipated it would be so well laid out, with gas hob, a fridge, it even has its own sink and shower within the caravan. As well as the convertible sofa bed, it has 2 single beds for the kids with a separation from the main living room, which provides great flexibility when travelling with older kids.

The sofa bed was tricky to convert, but bear in mind it’s from the 50s and it didn’t deter from our enjoyment!
