The location of the apartment couldn't have been better for me, as it was very close to my friends, easy to walk to the City Centre, and near the K&A Canal.

The kitchen could have had few more basics: knife for preparing vegetables, some mixing and/or serving bowls. A nonstick fry pan would be a bonus.

Clean, easy walk to the sights, sofa bed was soft but comfortable enough.

No pubs/meals immediately nearby, missing shampoo

The top-floor flat is comfortable and well-equipped. There is permit-holder only parking on the street, but there are several (quite expensive) car parks nearby. The living / dining room is at the front of the building and has a decent amount of room, but there are only three dining chairs provided - we would have liked to entertain some friends, but couldn't because there was not a fourth chair. The bedroom was quiet - it is shielded from the main road by other properties. The bed was comfortable, but quite bouncy (not good for the partner of those who fidget!) The duvet barely fitted the bed - a larger size would be more comfortable. The bathroom was fine, although the towel radiator was not working and the bathroom was cold. No shower gel was provided. The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked.

The flat was stone-cold when we arrived - it would have been nice if the heating had been turned on before we arrived, and that we had been informed that the bathroom towel rail did not work. There were several things that needed attention - some blown light bulbs; the kitchen light that takes an age to come on; non-working clock in lounge; kitchen plug that didn't hold water (missing O ring); no light over front door to illuminate locks; no instructions for how anything worked. Like my school reports - could do better!
