About this house rental

Looking for a peaceful escape to nature, not too far from the excitement and energy of Penn State University? This is the house for you. The large open living room/family room area are perfect for spending time with loved ones and friends while watching a game on the big screen tv. Or cook a meal in the gourmet kitchen while chatting with buddies in the lounge area. The main floor also includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed and tv, an office featuring a pull out love seat and futon, as well as a dining room, and bathroom are also located on this level. Upstairs you’ll find a breathtaking master bedroom with vaulted ceilings, large windows with gorgeous mountain views and a spectacular master bath featuring heated towel racks and a jetted shower. The upstairs also features a second master, two more bedrooms, and a third bathroom. All of this along the side of a beautifully landscaped hill and only 12 miles to Beaver Stadium! Twin Fox Manor is also just 13 miles to Juniata College and 35 minutes to Raystown Lake. We are close to hiking and snow mobile trails at Whipples Dam State Park, along with swimming and fishing areas.

Disappointed that one of the large beds was in a hallway. Zero privacy. Disappointed that there only paring knives. We should have brought ours.

Had a wonderful stay at the house. Came for a graduation and turned into an engagement in addition. The beautiful landscaping gave a perfect backdrop for photos of the event. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at what our grandkids immediately named the Epic House—and they weren’t wrong! From the moment we walked in, the home had a great vibe: spacious, welcoming, and thoughtfully set up for both family time and quiet moments when needed.The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were cozy, there was plenty of room for everyone, and the layout worked beautifully for a multigenerational group. We especially loved relaxing by the gorgeous fire pit in the evenings—such a treat!We were in town for our grandchild’s competition at Penn State, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. Communication with the hosts was excellent—they were friendly and quick to respond anytime we had a question.

We went as a family to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. The property was amazing. So much space. It was perfect to come back to the house and have our own family get together instead of trying to find reservations far away from campus. We were tuck away in the most beautiful location!

Our group of 8 adults stayed at this beautiful house for a concert weekend getaway. The house was very spacious allowing everyone to have their privacy yet also providing many gathering rooms for the group to hangout together and have fun. The house was more than what we expected and was well stocked with linens, towels and household needs. We will definitely rent this house again in the future when in the State College area!

This place was great for graduation weekend. It was about 15 minutes from Penn State. The place had plenty of room for all of us. The host was very responsive.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. It was clean, comfortable and offered plenty of space for our group. The location is peaceful and only a short drive to State College. Our hosts were very responsive to our questions. We highly recommend staying here, and look forward to staying here again.
