Could be a 5 star property if they put a bit of attention to some maintenance issues. The maintenance man was great but can only do what the owners allow him to do. The main selling point to our group was the hot tub and it was not working upon arrival. Jason tried his best and eventually on night 3 out of a 4 night stay it was fixed. It would have been nice to be notified before coming and the offer of a small refund for the inconvenience. The railing to the front porch is very unsafe. One good push and it will fall down. The refrigerator was leaking the entire time. The recliner sofas were broke as well as the basketball game. 2of the beds were in awful shape as well. All little annoyances that just built up. I don’t expect perfection but then lower the price a bit. I don’t think we will return to the property.

We very much enjoyed the spacious house, the location for stargazing, and the way the house was provisioned with coffee and tea, spices, towels, blankets for snuggling on the couch. We enjoyed the gas fireplaces. It was great for a fall retreat. We had a few concerns. One is that the hottub was set at 89 degrees - far too cool to use it and we were unable to figure out how to raise the temp. A second is that there is a small step up between two rooms that we kept tripping on. Eventually one of us tripped and injured herself fairly seriously. The step should be highlighted in some way or even be corrected with a small ramp. Finally, we could have done without all the Jesus and God signs everywhere. We don't all share that as something we are looking for on a trip.

Myself and 13 of my friends make it a point to get together at least once a year, with this trip being year 5. Of all the places and properties we've been to this one was, hands down, the best trip so far. The perfect cloudless nights, weather, and activities contributed largely to this, but the property was the foundation of everything we did. Its a wonderful place that isnt too far away from anything, yet far away enough that the stars are so clear it could give anyone an existential crisis. Thank you for an amazing time!

Awesome property in Potter County Pa. Lots of amenities and every thing you would need was provided. The only issue that I have was the way the cost was displayed. There were way to many fees in addition to the actual rent that practically doubled the cost and I also did not like the TV service which was not user friendly.

Went for a weekend get away for my son’s 23rd birthday. Had a few issues the first night, which encapsulated much of my time, and was unable ti visit and relax with my family. The listed basketball game had four deflated balls, we pumped them up but they immediately deflated. The hot tub temp was set to 65degrees and took almost the entire night to warm up, so needless to say, we were unable to use that. The master shower tub would not drain after a short shower, which somehow ended up backing up all the plumbing from that room, and leaking within the floorboards, causing a major leak into the living room ceiling. The driveway and stairs leading up to the house nor the back deck were shoveled or plowed. The amount of ice that accumulated on the back deck was a lot, creating a hazard or my young children and elderly mom. Due to the multiple issues the first night, our first night was pretty much a waste. However, I communicated with our Evolve contact, Dan, through the time. I was skeptical of this property manager based off reviews I’ve read online, but Dan was truly amazing in assisting to get all this issues resolved. He was verHe sent snow removal maintenance and the he spent hours removing the snow and ice in the back deck, a lot of pounding and thumping though! The plumbing/ maintenance man came and was able to turn off the water in the master shower, stopping the leaking into the living room. Both men were very professional and kind, and empathetic to our situation.

My wife bought me this trip as a stargazing present for my 65th birthday. We came for the moonless, dark sky and it did not disappoint! We stayed 4 days/nights; two of the nights were clear enough for stargazing. I was treated to a dark sky with twice as many stars as I can see from my backyard. There was no light pollution from Coudersport; the only problem was finding a spot where I could avoid the neighbor's outside light. We were impressed with the overall cleanliness of the house. The house is very roomy inside with a large living area, huge basement with game room, decent-sized kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a huge backyard and a large deck... either can be used for setting up your telescope. I tried both; I recommend using the deck, as lugging equipment to the backyard was quite a chore. Pluses: roomy, clean house in a picturesque location, very quiet neighborhood. Minuses: heavy vehicles travelling A-Frame road, a lot of steps to climb, blown light bulbs that needed replacing and a confusing array of light switches. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay in a roomy, clean house. I would come back again!

I booked this trip to see the perseids meteor shower and am so grateful it was this home. It was such a beautiful place to stay and my family and I talked about coming back every year! A few suggestions and things to be aware of when you visit. Bring your own frying pan from home, the pans were warped and scarred from people using metal on nonstick! You can't cook with those, it's a health hazard. I'm thankful I brought my own. The pots were stainless steel and very nice though! Bring your favorite cutting board as well, the one there is very tiny and chewed up from overuse. Please, do not cut on the wood island, I was shocked people thought that was ok to do! There were only two coffee mugs, so make sure you bring yours from home if you have more than a couple adults. Otherwise, everything was well stocked and super clean!! There were so many amenities which kept the kids entertained as well as the adults. This is definitely bookmarked for future vacations!

Pluses Location was perfect for us house was very roomy for all of us big yard for the kids to play the little things ( that are usually forgotten) like dish soap towels and garbage bags were provided Minuses a lot of light bulbs did not work outside the basement back door some garbage (like party favors) from a previous renter were not picked up and thrown away overall tho a thumbs up for the place

The house was amazing and very clean. LOVED that all the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen were labeled so you did not have to opened them all to find what you were looking for. Outside was awesome too!! Clouds did not allow for us to see the Milky Way but will come back and tried again.

Great place especially for a big group! Our stay was perfect and couldn't ask for a better host! The host was very responsive and answered all our questions before and during our stay. The home is spacious & well laid out with tons inside and out to do. Our teens kept busy playing pool, using the paddle boat in the pond and running outside with dogs! Internet & smart TV’s were great. The house has several different hangout areas and was well appointed. A Christmas tree was purchased for the house to add a special perk for our vacation (thank you Dan!) Communication was absolutely fantastic with property contact! I personally loved cooking dinner and watching deer in the backyard. We loved our stay and definitely recommend!

We were a group of 8 visiting this beautiful and spacious property, and it was close to Cherry Spring State Park where my friends and I went stargazing. We also had a great time using the bonfire and barbeque area. It was a nice getaway for us. Highly recommend!

It was a long-time dream of my husband to see the darkest night skies. Once I found Cherry Springs State Park, I started the hunt for a place to stay. This one was so conveniently located near the park without being right in it. I have 4 kids under 8 and they all absolutely loved this house. The sprawling property is absolutely beautiful and offers breathtaking views. It’s got everything you could need already there! And then more! We loved the hot tub even if it was a bit chilly getting in and out. The location was easy to find and get to. It also provided us with super dark skies as well so if we couldn't make it to the park observation area, we could see plenty of stars right in the backyard! Speaking of the backyard, the small pond first thing in the morning is so beautiful and peaceful! It was truly a lovely stay all around. We highly recommend this home for your stay and really hope to return one day!

What a great house and property! Plenty of room inside and out for our multi-generational group, it was comfortable and well appointed with kitchen supplies, --even skewers for roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. So much to do too: from the indoor games to the outdoor sauna to the boat on the pond. Although we saw more clouds than stars at night, we had fun during the day hiking and visiting the local museums. 5 Stars!

We stayed June 23-25, 2023. This beautiful home is immaculate, inside and out. We had 7 adults, and there was plenty of room for all of us, we never felt crowded. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies; and the toiletries were an added bonus. Everyone on our trip loved the house, and we all agreed we would come back and stay here. One of THE best VRBO homes we have had the pleasure to visit. Perfect place to unplug, and recharge your soul.

We stayed the beginning of June 2023. The house was perfect! Lots for the guys to do inside and out. We went to Cherry Springs for stargazing at night. The house was clean, lots of linens….they all seemed brand new! Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area. Thank you for renting to us!
