About this house rental
This large home is located on the Hudson River offering river activities and more! This three-bedroom, three-full-bath home offers dock space on the Hudson River, a large game room, and a movie area. We proudly announce that we are now 100% green; with solar power and a geothermal furnace system, you can have a guilt-free vacation!
On the main floor, you will find the kitchen, dining room, living room, three bedrooms, and a full bath. The first bedroom features a queen bed while the second bedroom offers two twin beds. The third bedroom offers a king bed with an ensuite bath and a loft just off the bedroom with another two twin beds. This master suite also offers a sunroom with an additional pull-out sofa and the perfect views from every window and access to a large deck with outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill.
The lower level offers another full bath and the perfect spot for family fun! The game room features a pool table, arcade games, and more! The movie area features a large screen and projector making for the perfect spot to watch movies.
Outside has just as much to offer with dock space, 2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, a row boat, a canoe, a fire pit, horseshoes, and a basketball hoop! This home is pet friendly, bring along your four-legged friend, for a small fee, dogs only. Must submit an up-to-date rabies vaccination card.
Located just a few minutes from West Mountain and a short drive to Lake a George, this home is the perfect getaway with plenty of fishing opportunities on the river, wildlife viewing in the bay, and endless sunsets. Location was incredible and close enough to all! So many great amenities within the house and property!! Looking forward to our trip back there next summer!

I was born, raised, and lived in this area for nearly 60 years before moving out of state recently.
My guests & I wanted a quiet location, yet close to the highway. This was it!
Access to the Hudson River from the back door.
We did not use the Kayaks, but they are available.
Weather was perfect during our stay, and we sat around the fire pit after dinner relaxing. Plenty of dry wood too. The house does have adequate smoke alarms and all doors securely lock. Plenty of hot water for showers (4 adults) and doing dishes. HVAC works great. Sunrise was nice. There were deer in the field. At dusk they were joined by turkeys. Beds are comfortable, no one complained of soreness. The home theater is nice. It was great seeing the Bills win on the big screen. My complaints would be that the Pinball machine wasn't working. The pool table is a bit wavy. (Don't place any bets using that table). The front entry needs more lighting to differentiate the 2 levels of the deck. Being painted a dark color it was hard to see the different levels. IN CONCLUSION this is a really nice property, and I would book it again. Being back to my hometown and surrounded by nature brought back memories. And new memories were made. Booking through the VRBO site was simple. The host was understanding and a pleasure to talk with. BOOK THIS HOUSE! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.
