It's a beautiful house in a wonderful location. The host is very nice and helpful. He gave good information about the surroundings and places to visit in Normandie. The house is well suited for a family and both the in and outside have toys and playgrounds for the kids. We highly recommend this place!

We spent a wonderful holiday in gîte le Pommiers, while friends rented the adjacent gîte les Tilleuls. The house and garden have been furnished with great care and love. It's a great place for families, with plenty of play area for our kids (6 and 4) outside and inside. The view from the room on the apple trees and surroundings is beautiful. And there was always a windless spot in the garden to enjoy the spring sun. The kitchen is nicely furnished and we cooked deliciously with fresh herbs from the garden. We also made good use of the fireplace on the colder evenings. For groceries there are all kinds of shops and a small Carrefour in Auffay (6 min). A little further is the Intermarché in Tôtes (12 min). There is much to do in the area. We went swimming several times in the Intermunicipal Pool in Val-de-Saâne, which was a small but nice pool with friendly lifeguards at a 15-minute drive. The swimming pool in Dieppe was unfortunately partly closed (May 2022) and therefore not like the pictures on their site. Also recommended were the park in Clères and the beautiful village of Veules-les-Roses. Furthermore, of course, the city center of Rouen is beautiful and the port of Dieppe is also worth a visit. The contact with François and Martine was very pleasant, they were very friendly and easily accessible. Hopefully we will have the chance to return for another stay.

The rental is a stunning converted barn, a lovely building. It has a well equipped kitchen, a large dinning table, a lounge which looks out onto an orchard. A perfect place to spend time with family enjoying good food and wine. A perfect place to unwind.

The Gite has everything you need very homely and stylish, very relaxing place to stay, but also very good for families with children. We enjoyed visiting Monet's House and gardens which was a short drive away, also close to beaches and lots of beautiful towns to enjoy. We will definitely come back again.

Beautiful house with a cozy interior in a peaceful and quiet environment! The house is surrounded by a lot of green and it's private. Everything is there for young and old. We had a very pleasant stay with our 10 month old baby. The communication with the owners was extremely good, very nice people. The location is a perfect base to do and see stuff. There are many nice places to visit close to the gite! It was so nice, that we will visit again. In short, if you want a nice holiday, you're right here. The cottage is very well equipped with everything needed. While we were a couple the property would be excellent for families with small children. There is a plethora of children's books, play equipment and outdoor areas ideal for a young family. We appreciated the tranquility and easy access to quiet cycling roads that scatter the area enabling us to abandon our car and simply cycle to local villages. Outdoor seating and furniture make for outdoor eating. While, for holidays not in summer, there is a massive wood burning stove which will keep the whole property cosy. Excellent.

Our second visit in less than a year. We really enjoy the setting, the accommodation and the facilities it offers. Also caters very well for children with toys and plenty of outside space. Our little girl (2) loved the log train and ticket office in the garden. Location is secluded yet only 5 mins in the car to Auffay and supermarkets. Coast only 25 mins away which was perfect for us and great for cycling routes. Owners as last time incredibly friendly. Intend to visit again later in year - hopefully!

We had a wonderful stay with our 19 month old. House is equipped with variety of toys and books, baby equipment which helps when you don’t want to bring everything with you such as baby bath, high chair, cutlery and feeding bowls, bibs. The bird song in the morning and evenings are amazing, lovely gardens to roam around with herbs growing and fruit trees. The cows love to wander up every night and the swing is a favourite with our child. We definitely will be returning. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful.

Nice, comfortable andere cozy house. Good beds, friendly owners, complete kitchen, great garden. Our children (6 andere 3) had a great time playing outside. We enjoyed the garden as well. Sturing our Stay we visited the great coast of Nirmandy- it wasnt a long drive at all. We would devinately return to this beatiful spot.

A marvellous Gite, and we have stayed in quite a few over the years.....beautifully equipped modern and tastefully decorated. Unlike many gites, it is obvious that this was converted for purpose, and planned with care and thought for visitors to enjoy. A rural and peaceful setting with a lovely village (Auffay) a few minutes away - a very good boulangerie, excellent butcher and a fine small but traditional market on Friday mornings selling lots of local produce. We think this gite would be especially suitable for younger families in the summer, with many facilities provided - down to the most thoughtful detail. We stayed with teenagers, and appreciated the open and airy aspect of the barn, the huge woodburner which kept the whole place toasty and snug, despite freezing cold temperatures outside, a plentiful supply of wood was included in the rental price as well. To supplement, in extra cold weather, the heating was modern and efficient. Comfy beds, a very well equipped kitchen (including a raclette machine - what a bonus), good internet access (for the kids a must!) and a gorgeous window with french doors opening onto a decked area which allows the sun to stream in through the afternoon and evening. Access to Dieppe (which should not be overlooked as it has some great seafood restaurants) and Rouen with its amazing architecture, churches and shopping is easy and less than half an hour. Further afield but still an easy day trip are the beaches of Normandy, Le Memorial museum at Caen, the beautiful Honfleur and in the summer, it would be a short ride to Giverny and Monet's garden (this does not open until the spring). Overall a great base for touring the area but with that added tranquility of being really rural and quite. Lovely hosts too.

We really enjoyed our recent holiday at Les Pommiers. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, providing a lot of useful information before and during our stay. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Our 3 year old was very happy playing in the garden on the swings, with all the games and waving to the cows in the field. The house is close to a small town with good shops and a train station which we used one day to go to Rouen. We were very lucky with the weather and visited a different beach nearly every day. We are definitely planning to stay at this house again as it is a great house in a very good location and there was a lot that we wanted to do in the area but ran out of time.

The cottage in very nice on the inside and outside. There is an excellent kitchen with all the kitchenware you need. The bedrooms are adequate, excellent beds so no backpains in the morning. We had the 6 person cottage which has a wonderful view on the field from the living room. There is a huge window that allows you to enjoy the view of cows passing by. Then living room has a large woodburner, there is free wood available to keep the fire going. Aside from that there is also regular central heating. Our kids had a great time because there were many games to play in the garden (badminton, pingpong, checkers, bow and arrow shooting and much more). Lats but not least, there was a wifi connection fast enough for netflix and youtube! We really enjoyed our stay, the owners were very nice and flexible, they spoke English French and German. I am sure we will be back!

We stayed in Les Pommiers for one week and we returned on Sunday, feeling very sad to have left. we had such a wonderful stay, the house was immaculate and full of wonderful interior design features. The gardens have matured since the pictures were taken and we were blown away by how beautiful the gardens were. We stayed with our two young children aged 1 and 3 years, there was everything there that we needed- toys, cot, changing mat, baby bath, high chair- you name it it was there. The facilities outside for children to play were fantastic- swings, games room full of rackets & games, play house, wooden train and sand pits. Martine and Francois were so welcoming and kind, we had a bottle of Cider in the fridge on arrival and one day after Francois had been gardening he left us some freshly cut roses by the front door. They respected our privacy and asked permission to do the gardening, we were very impressed by the whole experience. Normandy was full of delightful villages and towns, we visited Dieppe, Rouen and Hon Fleur. All beautiful and full of history. One day we stayed at the house and just enjoyed being there in the sunshine. there are many local shops and in Auffey the local village they have a market every Friday, well worth a visit. Our visit to the beautiful place has inspired us to move to France one day, the immerse ourselves in this beautiful language and culture. Thank you Martine and Francois, we will be coming again xxxx

We had a lovely time at Les Pommiers, the gite was very spacious and fully equipped with everything you could need - really a home from home! The gardens around the house are beautiful - all created by Francois and Martine who were perfect hosts and really lovely people. The gite was only 25 minutes from Dieppe but it is in a lovely rural situation, not far from Auffay where you can find a few small shops and supermarket. We drove to the coast most days - although it does take a little time it was worth it, Honfleur is beautiful! It was always great to come back to the gite in the evening though, it was comfortable and clean and having a proper kitchen to cook in was wonderful. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away from it all and explore rural Normandy, we couldn't fault it!
